JackFrags reveals how to turn Warzone’s M13 into powerful automatic Sniper Rifle

YouTuber JackFrags has created the ultimate long-range Assault Rifle by turning the M13 into a powerful sniper.

Warzone’s M13 is a popular choice for its range and accuracy, but YouTuber Jack “JackFrags” Mason has made it even better by converting it into a fully-automatic Sniper Rifle.

Call of Duty’s Gunsmith system has allowed players to completely customize their weapons, sometimes turning them into something new entirely. This is what YouTuber JackFrags has done with the M13 Assault Rifle, turning it into a powerful Sniper Rifle.

As Warzone players have become more adept at the battle royale genre, more fights are now resolved over distance. While carrying a close-range weapon such as a FFAR 1 or MAC-10, you also want a powerful long-range option.

The AUG and Kar98k usually fit this category in Season 2, but JackFrags’ new M13 build is an effective and fun deviation from the meta.

Warzone M13 with sniper scope

Rather than the common VLK 3.0x Optic or holographic sight, this M13 comes with a Sniper Scope. While a high magnification scope will make most ARs a nightmare to control, the M13’s minimal recoil allows it to become a long-range laser beam.

Over the course of the game, JackFrags continuously beams enemies at range and wins the game with an impressive 17 kills.

If you want to use this build yourself, it’s best suited for counter-sniping as landing shot after shot will significantly throw off your enemy’s aim and keep them suppressed.

As it has high magnification, you won’t be able to use it at close-range, but carrying an SMG in your pocket will more than make up for that. The other downside is that the Sniper Scope gives glint, but JackFrags described how, “Once you get on target and you start the beam, there’s just no escaping it.”

Here’s how you can convert the M13 into a fully-automatic Sniper Rifle.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Tempus Marksman
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

Best PPSH-41 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 3

Warzone Season 3’s monstrous new SMG is here, and our loadout will make the PPSH-41 unreal – thanks to the right attachments & perks.

The PPSH-41 is now in Warzone. The notoriously fast-firing SMG is sure to cause big damage in Warzone Season 3, so make sure you’re not missing out with our best loadout, complete with attachments and perks.

Multiple Call of Duty games have featured the PPSH-41 SMG, and it’s been mega-popular and used frequently in them all. Its blistering speed can sometimes be hard to control, but given that Warzone has a near-endless stream of attachments, the PPSH can become a beast.

Season 3 represents a fresh start for the battle royale, and thanks to recent nerfs and updates, the regurgitation of AUG, M16, and FFAR loadouts could finally be over. Repetitive classes have been nuked, as well as Verdansk, and the PPSH is here to stake its claim as the meta king.

Best Warzone Season 3 PPSH-41 attachments

cod warzone ppsh smg
  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Ammunition: 55 Rnd Mag
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

To get this PPSH loadout rolling we’re immediately applying the popular GRU Suppressor as we want our SMG to be quiet, but still, own at any range. The 7.4″ Task Force barrel is a must for most SMGs as, again, it helps it to excel and increase its damage over longer distances.

The Raider Stock is great for increasing your overall mobility and speed, and the 55 Rnd Mag gives us a little bit extra to finish off two or three players.

We finish the attachments off with the Serpent Wrap as its increased ADS, with little drawbacks, is a big plus to munch enemies at close range.

Best perks to run with Warzone’s PPSH

cod warzone overkill perk
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped

Given that you’re going to want to get in close with PPSH on a regular basis in Warzone, E.O.D will allow you to shrug off Thermite, Claymores, and other explosive distractions.

Even with attachments, an SMG still lacks the full range that an Assault Rifle can offer, so Overkill lets us play with a longer-range gun. Whereas Amped is a necessity to switch from a ranged weapon to the PPSH in no time at all for a sudden engagement.

How to unlock the PPSH in Warzone & Cold War

cod warzone ppsh-41 smg perks

For all of you desperate to get your hands on the PPSH-41, you’ll be pleased to know that it won’t take much effort.

To unlock the PPSH-41, players will simply need to reach Level 15 in the Battle Pass, a free tier.

Also, because the same XP is tied to both Cold War and Warzone, the good news is that you can unlock the PPSH-41 on either game.

Best alternatives to the PPSH-41 in Warzone

The PPSH is simply a machine. But if you want some serious range to go with it, then equip something meaty like the HDR or LW3 Tundra.

Or, become a close-mid-range monster and pair the PPSH with the Gallo SA12.

Every Warzone Season 3 weapon buff & nerf: FFAR, AUG & more

Warzone Season 2’s most dominant weapons have finally been nerfed, so here’s every weapon change in Warzone Season 3.

Published

Warzone M16 and FFAR nerfed

Warzone Season 3 is here, and it’s brought a ton of weapon balance changes with it, including nerfs to the dominant M16, AUG, and FFAR. Here’s every weapon buff and nerf in Warzone Season 3.

Warzone Season 3 is officially here. On top of new Operators and weapons, a ton of adjustments have been made to Black Ops Cold War’s weapons in the battle royale.

While certain Cold War weapons were underpowered compared to their Modern Warfare counterparts, others killed way faster than the norm. As of Season 3, the AUG, M16, and FFAR have finally been nerfed, and other weapons such as the Krig 6 and Cold War AK-47 have been buffed.

Here’s every change that has been made to weapons and attachments in Warzone Season 3.

PPSH and Swiss K31 added to Warzone

As with all new Call of Duty seasons, players have been given some new weapons to play with in Season 3. These are the classic PPSH SMG and a new bolt-action sniper, the Swiss K31.

Swiss K31 in Cold War and Warzone

Both of these weapons are available in the Season 3 Battle Pass and can be equipped in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. You’ll unlock the PPSH quickly at Tier 15, and the Swiss K31 can be unlocked later at Tier 31.

M16, AUG, FFAR 1 nerfed in Warzone Season 3

The highlight of this update is the nerfing of the M16, AUG, and FFAR 1. These weapons dominated the entirety of Season 2, with their incredibly low time-to-kill making them the only viable choices.

Raven Software finally tamed the beasts, lowering the Tactical Rifles’ damage and fire rate. With these changes, the devs said, “you will now need to aim deliberately if you intend to kill quickly.”

Although the FFAR has received nerfs in the past, this one appears to be final. They’ve reduced its damage across the board and reduced its ADS speed again. Raven said that “the FFAR 1 will remain a respectable option following this change, but it should now be a playstyle preference rather than a loadout necessity.”

Warzone FFAR 1

Raven Software also proactively nerfed the Groza in anticipation of it becoming the new meta after the FFAR’s nerf. As streamer NICKMERCS explained, the Groza was a rival to the FFAR, and Raven was aware of this. They increased its recoil and lowered its ADS speed and damage to “allow for some healthy competition in this weapon category.”

Developers also expect the CR-56 AMAX to be the dominant gun at the beginning of Season 3. They said, “we are keeping a close eye on the AMAX. No king rules forever.

All Warzone Season 3 weapon changes

As well as nerfing Season 2’s most powerful weapons, they buffed some outliers and added a new attachment bonus – Position Concealment.

Best Grau 5.56 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 3

Here’s the best, devastating Grau weapon loadout with optimal attachments and perks for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3.

Published

on

grau cod warzone season 3 loadout

The Grau 5.56 is a secret long-range monster that completely shreds in Warzone Season 3. Here’s the best possible loadout you can put together for it: including attachments and perks.

The Warzone meta is a continually fluctuating machine that keeps being buffed and nerfed. Season 2 became a constant mid-long range war against burst-fire AUGs, M16s, and a closer-up fight of FFARs and Sykovs.

Whereas people are very slowly opening their eyes to an unheralded king in CoD: Warzone Season 3 – the Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle.

Best Warzone Season 3 Grau 5.56 attachments

grau cod warzone loadout
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

To prove to yourself that this is indeed an under-the-radar Warzone killer, make sure you have the above attachments equipped to the Grau.

The Monolithic Suppressor is a popular attachment for most guns as its silencer properties allow you to keep you to remain a secret and pepper targets without them knowing where you are on the map.

For the barrel, we suggest the Tempus 26.4″ Archangel as it counteracts some of that range drop-off and adds a whole lot more in the way of firepower. The plus side is that the Grau already has tremendous range and firepower, so you should now be formidable at any range.

grau cod warzone season 3

The Tac Laser is a must for that increased Aim Down Sight speed as it doesn’t matter what type of gun you use, the person who can get their eye down that sight quicker will always stand the better chance of prevailing in an engagement.

The Commando Foregrip is an easy attachment as it really helps to stabilize the weapon and reduce the recoil and kickback. Finally, the 60 Round Mags provide a nice buffer if you get into a heated confrontation with multiples hostiles. You’ll have a bit more leftover in the tank to try and finish everyone off.

Best Warzone Season 3 Grau 5.56 loadout perks

cod warzone season 3 perks

The Grau is suddenly now an unbelievable threat in your hands during a game of Warzone. So to tip the scales more so, these are the perks you’re going to need.

  • Perk 1: Cold-Blooded
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Tracker/Tune-Up (Not Solo)

A standard perk to go with the Grau 5.56 is Cold-Blooded as your Monolithic Suppressor will keep you quiet, whereas Cold-Blooded will keep you hidden. Another way of ensuring you’re the supreme silent killer in Warzone is to use the popular Ghost perk.

Whereas Perk 3 bottles down to whether or not you’re playing with buddies. Tune Up is the only one you’ll really need and it will get you revived a bit quicker. Whereas Tracker is more of a solo project that will let you find enemies faster.

How to unlock the Grau in Warzone Season 3

cod warzone season 3 assault rifle grau 5.56

Unlocking the Grau 5.56 is easy enough as in Modern Warfare or Warzone you just need to “Get 5 kills in a minute when using an Assault Rifle 25 times.”

Doing this on Modern Warfare is the recommended option. If not, just land into a populated area in Warzone and get your best killing shoes on!

Best alternatives to Warzone’s Grau Assault Rifle

For a rangier weapon to the Grau it’s also worth trying out Warzone’s new ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle for some significant long-range damage.

Otherwise, you needs to get your hands on the Sykov pistols and let loose with them.
