JGOD explains how to get easier Warzone lobbies without reverse boosting
Popular Warzone content creator JGOD has revealed how to get into easier Warzone lobbies without using any third-party software or reverse boosting.
The Warzone community has become obsessed with skill-based matchmaking, or SBMM. This mysterious factor determines the skill of the players you’ll be coming against. The better you play, the more likely you are to come against some seriously high-skilled players.
When you finish work and want to hop on Warzone with your friends, even if you’re using the best weapons, it can be tiring and frustrating to get bodied by every team you come up against. Because of this, players are always looking for ways to avoid SBMM and fight against less-skilled players.
It’s well-known in the community that you can get into easier lobbies by reverse boosting or using VPN software to change your location. However, with the help of an in-depth Reddit post, YouTuber JGOD has explained how to legitimately find easier lobbies.
“Skill-based matchmaking is at its strictest between 8 PM and 2 AM, and it’s toned down significantly between 3 AM and 7 AM local time,” JGOD describes. To put it simply, playing Warzone in the evening, when the majority of players are online, will give you much more difficult matches.
For some reason, “morning lobbies are statistically easier,” so if you’re looking for an easier time in Warzone, you should try to play early in the morning.
As JGOD further explains, when it feels like you’re constantly getting put against the best of the best, the chances are that you do belong in that bracket. SBMM is heavily dependent on your kill/death ratio, and if you have a KD ratio of over 1.10, you’re in the “top 20% of all Call of Duty players.”
When you’re in this top 20%, so are the high-skilled streamers and grinders, so you’re more likely to be matched against them when playing at peak-times.
If you’re unsure what matchmaking bracket you fall into, you can follow our guide on how to check your SBMM rank.
