Due to a recently discovered bug, certain attachments are increasing the viability of Vanguard Sniper Rifles in Warzone Pacific and JGOD has all the details for us.

Vanguard Sniper Rifles have been a hot topic of discussion as of late. Traditionally Sniper Rifles have been some of the most used weapons in Warzone. Their excellent range and one-shot kill potential can devastate opponents.

However, when Vanguard weapons were integrated into Warzone, players were incredibly disappointed with Sniper Rifles. Luckily, this new tip courtesy of JGOD can potentially make Sniper Rifles top-tier again.

Best Sniper Rifle attachment for Warzone Pacific

The two major complaints players have with Vanguard Snipers are their slow ADS speed and their lack of damage output. Fortunately for those who love to traverse Caldera with Sniper Rifle in hand, one of these problems can be solved with the right attachments.

In JGOD’s latest video the Call of Duty weapon expert discusses how to drastically increase your Sniper’s ADS speed. Although, the trick has more to do with a bug that fails to register the decrease in ADS Speed that certain optics bring to Snipers.

In Vanguard, equipping attachments will bring up a pros and cons list. This system was developed to balance weapons and give the players an opportunity to pick the attachments that best suit their play style.

As seen in the video, JGOD reveals that the cons list for Vanguard Snipers and optic attachments seems to malfunction when it comes to ADS speed. Therefore, players can get away with equipping some of the best optics without sacrificing valuable ADS speed.

JGOD suggests equipping Vanguard Snipers with the MK. 12 Night Vision optic which delivers the benefits of a 3x optic and makes your ADS speed 44% faster. In addition, he states that players should stay away from optics with two sights because they will prevent you from holding your breath.

Of course, JGOD has done a ton of testing and he confirms that this bug does not impact the pros and cons of weapons outside the Sniper Rifle category. He goes on to state that a patch for this bug is sure to surface soon.

Warzone expert claims forgotten Vanguard sniper is “broken” with insane one-shot power

One broken Sniper Rifle is now able to one-shot players to the chest after its nerfs were reverted in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone expert Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton has revealed which Sniper Rifle is now capable of one-shotting enemies to the chest after the developers reverted its nerfs.

When you hop into a game of Warzone Pacific, you’ll face tough competition from opposing players and will need to select the best weapon loadouts for different combat situations in order to come out on top.

If you prefer to pick off your enemies from a distance then Sniper Rifles are the best choice, and Call of Duty expert IceManIsaac has showcased an extremely broken one that can instantly take out enemies in Season 4 Reloaded.

The Type 99 Sniper Rifle previously received a massive nerf in Warzone Pacific Season 3 and this was meant to prevent players from securing one-shot kills outside of the weapon’s max damage range.

However, this nerf was reverted in the July 28 update which increased the maximum damage range to 50 meters, up from 37 Meters. As a result, the weapon is able to eliminate enemies extremely quickly.

IceManIsaac described the weapon as “jarring and super satisfying to use.” You can use it to take out your opponents instantly with a single shot to the chest. The Warzone expert then revealed his loadout for the powerful Sniper Rifle.

IceManIsaac’s Type 99 Loadout

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Shiraishi 712mm Sniper
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x / ZF4 3.5x Rifle Scope
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Magazine: 8mm Klauser 5 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk 1: Vital
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

IceManIsaac uses many of the same attachments as the best Type 99 Warzone loadout, but he went with the Taped Grip for the faster weapon swap speed that it provides. Even if you hit a shoulder shot, you can switch to an SMG quickly to finish off your opponent.

The SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x optic is an ideal choice for Caldera but its biggest drawback is the glint that enemies can spot, giving away your position and putting you at a disadvantage. If you want to avoid the glint, you can try out the ZF4 3.5x Rifle Scope instead

The Vital perk is a key part of this loadout as it increases the size of the critical-hit area on enemies. Finally, the Removed Stock and the SMLE Pistol Grip let you aim down sights faster.

Call of Duty devs explain why they use weapon codenames in patch notes

In the Warzone patch notes the devs use codenames for weapons instead of their in-game name, and they have finally revealed why.

Call of Duty developers have officially revealed the reason why they use codenames for weapons in the patch notes.

Warzone is in its fourth season, and the devs have been giving weapon codenames since the very beginning. This has always baffled players as they are unaware as to why the developers don’t just use their in-game names.

Luckily, two devs have revealed why they use codenames for weapons, and the answer may not be much of a surprise.

In response to a player’s tweets regarding the use of “Asault Rifle Charlie” and “Assault Rifle Hotel” in the patch notes, two developers provided insight into the question.

According to the Sledgehammer Games Communication Manager and Treyarch’s Associate Director, the reason Activision uses codenames for weapons in Warzone is for “legal reasons.”

The devs actually can’t use the official names, and it seems they actually feel the same as players when it comes to the codenames, with Sam Leichtamer saying that it’s “very confusing for (the devs) too.”

In another tweet, developer Matt Scronce agrees, saying that he doesn’t like it any more than players do, but for “legal/licensing reasons,” it is necessary.

Well there you have it, that’s why your favorite weapons in Warzone have codenames in the patch notes. For more, check out what loadout NICKMERCS beat his Warzone kill record with.

Following the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update, Warzone’s long-range meta changed with the NZ-41 out of the picture. Top 5 SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded

5. Welgun

Vanguard Welgun SMG

The Welgun is the king of low recoil SMG loadouts and it is one of the easiest weapons to use. Although it doesn’t have the same incredible damage-per-mag as the Amraguerra, it has everything you’d want from an SMG — solid time to kill, low recoil, and high mobility.

Truthfully, there is very little to separate the top Vanguard SMGs in Warzone and if any of the weapons below receive nerfs, then the Welgun will surely rise up this list throughout Season 4 Reloaded.

4. Type 100

warzone type 100

The Type 100 is a Vanguard SMG that players simply cannot ignore. During Warzone Pacific Season 3 it became the fastest-killing SMG in the game, and its dominance has continued throughout Season 4 Reloaded.

Although the Type 100 is a tad unwieldy, you’ll find that you’ll win almost every close-range gunfight when it’s in your hands. Its main issues are that it has a relatively small magazine size and struggles at range, but it deserves its top five spot because of its incredible damage output.

3. Marco 5

Marco 5 in Warzone Pacific

The relatively new Marco 5 became available via the Season 4 Battle Pass and it managed to make its way onto this list immediately. It debuted in the fourth spot at the start of Season 4 and has managed to claim the third spot ahead of Season 5.

Although the Marco 5 boasts a unique Akimbo proficiency that allows players to dual wield the weapon, it is much more devastating with the ability to ADS.

2. H4 Blixen

Best Warzone H4 Blixen loadout

The H4 Blixen is yet another one of the powerful SMGs that have been released as seasonal content like the Welgun, Armaguerra 43, Marco 5. The SMG competition has been fierce and the Blixen claimed the top spot for a long time.

Unfortunately, back-to-back nerfs have seen the H4 Blixen’s stock fall in Season 4 Reloaded. It used to blow the competition out of the water, but you can expect it to take a hit in Warzone popularity as well as K/D.

1. Armaguerra 43 – Best SMG in Warzone

armaguerra vanguard smg

Although Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 didn’t get much love heading into Season 4, it has now usurped the Blixen for the top spot. For starters, its versatility and ease of use are two of its main strengths.

The Armaguerra boasts an incredibly fast fire rate and low recoil, which make it perfect for all three of Warzone’s maps. In addition, its strafe speed is devastating with the right attachments.

Although these SMGs are the top five you should run in Warzone, the meta is constantly evolving and who knows what will happen when the Warzone Pacific Season 5 update shakes up the hierarchy.
