Warzone YouTuber JGOD has broken down the simple trick you can use to win more gunfights and “instantly raise your K/D.”
‘Centering’ is a term you may have heard your favorite Call of Duty and Warzone pros use, as it’s one of the most important aspects of any FPS game. Make sure your aim is ‘centered’ and already where you expect enemies to be will allow you to snap onto them much quicker, giving you the edge in gunfights.
Using examples from Warzone’s top professional players, YouTuber JGOD has broken down how important centering is to improve your K/D ratio and winning more gunfights.
What is centering in Warzone?
As JGOD explains, centering is keeping your crosshair in the center of your screen so you’re always ready for a player to appear. This means aiming at chest height at all times where you expect enemies to be, whether that’s in doorways, windows, or out in the open. JGOD explained that sometimes that tiny adjustment you have to make if you’re not centered “is enough to lose you the gunfight.”
Using his own example, when JGOD is aiming at the floor, he has to massively adjust to aim at an enemy, and messes up his shots. He then corrects himself, centers his aim, and easily wins the fight.
He explains that controllers players tend to be the most guilty of aiming at the floor, as his own centering is much better when playing on keyboard and mouse. It could be a battle royale problem, as you’re constantly looking at the ground for loot.
JGOD Warzone centering examples
JGOD then uses top Warzone pro Tommey as an example, explaining how good centering can even correct mistakes. In the middle of a fight, Tommey expected a player to swing through a doorway and was centered ready for the player. Instead, the player dropped down one of the fireman’s poles, and because Tommey was centered, he easily adjusted his aim slightly to the right to win the gunfight.
As another perfect example of centering, JGOD analyzes DougIsRaw’s gameplay. Before Doug dropped down a ladder into the stairs of one of the apartment buildings, he took a second to center his aim to chest height. This allowed him to drop down already with perfect aim, and easily got the kill.
While centering is just instinct for Warzone’s top players, JGOD said that you’ll have to “consciously work on it day after day.” Just keep centering in mind while playing, and you’ll find your gameplay will improve immensely.

Banned Warzone pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint completely breaks game audio
Warzone players have discovered a bugged pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint that completely breaks the game’s audio.
It appears a pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint has made its way to Call of Duty: Warzone, with the bugged weapon completely ruining audio cues and being banned from some tournaments.
With Modern Warfare’s major overhaul to Call of Duty’s cosmetics, devs were clear that purchasable items will provide no competitive advantage. However, thanks to bugs and glitches, that isn’t always the case.
Now, it appears that a Bullfrog skin is completely messing up the game’s audio, giving the impression that shots are coming from all around.
Hearing and understanding audio cues is a major aspect of dominating Warzone, so it’s important you have the best audio settings. Yet, it turns out that a Bullfrog Blueprint is causing major audio issues, and it’s now been banned from competitive play.
Warzone pro and streamer ZLaner was playing with Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman when he noticed that one of his teammates was using the bugged Bullfrog. It turned out to be Tim, so Z showed Doc and the audience exactly what the problem is.
After Tim fired the weapon, Doc immediately reacted by saying “Oh my god, no way!” ZLaner then clarified the issue, explaining that “it sounds like it’s all around you.” When this Bullfrog Blueprint is fired nearby, it appears that it’s impossible to track down exactly where the shots are coming from.
This Bullfrog issue appears to be well-known in the competitive community, with pro player exzachht reportedly nearly disqualified for using a Bullfrog Blueprint in the Z&Z tournament. He never used the broken one, but it proves it’s a serious issue.
The Blueprint in question, Blast Radius, sells in the Store for 2,400 COD Points so it appears that it is indeed pay-to-win. How much it affects regular public matches is uncertain but the competitive community has clearly found issues with it.
It’s highly unlikely the Blueprint is meant to act this way, so mow that it has entered the limelight, perhaps Raven Software will provide a fix in the future.

Our SP-R 208 loadout will focus on improving the weapon’s speed and accuracy in Warzone. We’ll start off with the Monolithic Suppressor to hide your shots from the radar and boost the weapon’s damage range.
The SP-R 26″ barrel will provide a boost to the Marksman Rifle’s damage and accuracy so that you can dish out pain with greater precision. A sniper needs to be unpredictable and move around during engagements, and the Tac Laser attachment will make this much easier.
We strongly recommend equipping the Solozero SP-R 28mm scope since it provides the weapon with 7x magnification, letting you score headshots with greater ease.
Finally, you should use the 338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mags since they’ll ensure that you barely need to compensate for bullet drop or travel time. And as an added benefit, upper body shots will almost always crack armor.

You should select Overkill from your first loadout drop so that you can carry two primary weapons with this Marksman’s RIfle. Then you can pick Ghost from your second loadout drop to hide from UAVs.
Finally, Amped will allow you to switch between both primary weapons on a dime, allowing you to stay in the fight no matter the situation.

If you want to try out an alternate weapon to the SP-R, then we recommend going with the Kar98k. Its fast ADS speed makes it perfect for quickscoping and hitting impressive shots, but it can also deal with opponents farther.
The Swiss K31 comes with a fast ADS speed and bolt time, making it a fun and effective weapon to push players at close-medium range. You can make good use of its clean iron sights and fast bullet velocity.
