JGOD reveals meta perks for Warzone Season 3 loadouts

Having the right perks in your Warzone loadouts can be the difference between winning and losing, and Warzone stats master JGOD has revealed what the meta perks are for Warzone Season 3.

Perks have been a huge aspect of Call of Duty through the years, and this is definitely the case for the world of Warzone, as the various perks the game offers can give players a huge advantage when playing.

However, some perks are much more effective for players in the Call of Duty battle royale, which has lead YouTuber JGOD to dive into numbers and explain which meta perks the community should be using in Warzone Season 3.

JGOD’s Warzone Season 3 meta perks

Perk 1 – Double Time or E.O.D.

When it comes to your first perk slot, JGOD explains that you will find the most success using either Double Time or E.O.D.

Double Time will help give you more tactical sprint time, which can help with slide canceling and not being caught out in the open because you ran out of tactical sprint.

E.O.D. is still a solid choice, according to JGOD, for the first perk slot, thanks to it negating a decent portion of enemy explosive damage you may suffer, even though recent changes allow for a semtex stick to automatically down you even when you are using E.O.D.

JGOD also explained that Cold-Blooded is not really worth players using, as it does not stop you from showing up on Heartbeat Sensors, contrary to what some believe, and that it is a perk with a low Kill to death ratio among players using it in Warzone.

Perk 2 – Restock/Overkill/High Alert/Ghost

Restock and Overkill were the first second slot perks that JGOD went over, and he explains that Restock could be very powerful for players, as it will allow them to get more stun and semtex grenades which can easily turn the tide of a battle.

Overkill is more suitable for trios or quads. Having multiple guns with extended magazines is more needed than solos or duos, where you can get away with using a floor loot weapon that likely has a smaller magazine size.

High Alert can be a handy second slot perk, as it provides players with an indication of where an enemy outside of their view is shooting them from, but JGOD explains this only works if the enemy is 100 meters or less from you.

Finally, Ghost is always a good choice for players, as it will stop you from showing up on the map when multiple UAVs are being used and keeps you from being detected on Heartbeat Sensors instead of Cold-Blooded.

Perk 3 – Amped/Spotter/Tracker

The third perk slot for players in Warzone Season 3 will be the most useful if they run Amped, Spotter, or Tracker.

Amped will increase your weapon swap speed, which is very useful when using a secondary weapon like an LMG or sniper that may have a frustrating delay when trying to switch weapons.

Spotter is a great choice, JGOD explains, when it comes to attacking teams in buildings, as it allows you to see enemy equipment like claymores and mines through walls and avoid entering areas where you will be hit with an explosive welcome.

JGOD suggests that Tracker is probably the most useful for solos, as the footsteps it allows you to see on the ground can get confusing when multiple enemies are making them, but can help when tracking a single-player down into a building.

Warzone Perks with highest K/D

The Warzone stats master went on to show which perks have the highest kill to death ratios, suggesting that the players who choose these perks are doing the best and thus are ones players should probably gravitate towards when playing. You can find the top perk for each slot based on K/D below:

  • Perk 1/E.O.D. – 1.08 K/D
  • Perk 2/Restock – 1.31 K/D
  • Perk 3/Amped – 1.12 K/D

Players who switch up their Warzone Season 3 meta perks to include the one above and the other suggestions that JGOD recently explained will undoubtedly see an increase in their success the next time they are on Verdansk ’84 or Rebirth Island.
