Call of Duty expert JGOD has revealed which meta SMG Warzone Pacific players should use to dominate the competition in close-range combat during Season 5.

The Warzone Pacific meta has gone through significant changes in Season 5, as the update has added the EX1 Assault Rifle and RA 225 SMG as brand-new weapons for players to unlock.

As a result of these changes, different weapons are now becoming popular picks, and Warzone content creator JGOD has showcased a powerful SMG loadout that is worth trying out Season 5.

In his August 29 video, JGOD went over the two new Season 5 weapons, revealing whether or not they’re worth unlocking and leveling up, stating that the RA 225 is a “top-tier” SMG in Warzone.

JGOD explained: “This thing does definitely melt, especially with the nerfs to all the other weapons.” The Warzone expert added that the only drawback is its damage per mag, but the weapon is still potentially meta.

JGOD’s Warzone RA 225 loadout

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Urban Rapid 11″
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Moravec MB
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Magazine: 9mm 55 Round Mags/ 7.62 Gorenko 38 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened/Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk: Momentum / Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

JGOD’s RA 225 loadout for trios and quads makes use of the 9mm 55 Round Mags but he recommends swapping to the 7.62 Gorenko 38 Round Mags in Duos or Solos for a more consistent TTK.

Since the damage per mag will hold you back, you’ll have to time your reloads. Sleight of Hand will help with that by ensuring that you reload almost instantly. Alternatively, you can also go for Momentum if you want to improve your mobility.

The Recoil Booster muzzle and Urban Rapid 11″ barrel boost the weapon’s fire rate and lower the TTK. With this loadout equipped, you can cause some serious pain to your opponents in battle.
