JGOD reveals the best close-range weapon in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is jam-packed with devastating SMGs and lightweight Assault Rifles that will help you dominate in close-range fights, and JGOD has picked out the one that is at the top of the meta right now.
As is the case with any major update, Warzone Season 4 Reloaded introduced a number of buffs and nerfs that have shaken up the meta once again. Some of the game’s most popular guns, including the NZ-41, were hit with nerfs to make matches feel balanced.
The close-range meta, in particular, has been blown wide open in Season 4 Reloaded, especially after the August 3 update came with even more balancing changes. This means players may be wondering which SMG to run as sniper support in their next game.
Luckily, JGOD has revealed the best close-range weapon in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.
According to the YouTuber in his August 5 video, the Armaguerra 43 is the “absolute meta” SMG in the game right now and should be the go-to in a close-range battle.
“It has a very good TTK, it has a very fast fire rate and the recoil isn’t all that high, so it has a very low skill ceiling in terms of anyone can use it, which is always a plus,” JGOD explained.
He then broke down the best Armaguerra 43 loadout for those looking to run it as a sniper support weapon.

By sticking with this setup, the Armagurra 43 becomes an absolute monster in close-quarters combat, dispatching enemies quickly with little recoil.
For those higher-skilled Warzone players looking to bring the TTK down even quicker, JGOD recommended the .30 Russian Short 34 Round Mags. This helps boost the fire rate and bullet velocity, at the expense of magazine capacity and recoil control, suited more towards Solos matches.
If the Armaguerra isn’t your favorite weapon, JGOD also recommended the H4 Blixen and the Marco 5, which he described as a “hair worse” than the number one close-range weapon.
