A fresh new leak from TheGamingRevo on Twitter claims that fans may see some classic Call of Duty maps make a return to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare post launch.

TheGamingRevoYT has stated that Shipment, Rust, Terminal and Wetwork are currently in active development for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare post launch. He even says that “more classics” are planned for the game, but did not elaborate as to which maps those could be.

He also claims that Shipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be renamed to Cargo.

This information once again has not been officially confirmed by Infinity Ward or Activision. One thing that may corroborate this information is that references to “Rust” map was found in the PC Beta files in Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s post launch content season will be different than previous years as there’s no Season Pass. The studio will be releasing free maps, modes, and more to the game throughout the content season, but a release timetable for post launch content has not been announced by the studio as of now.

A potential list of launch maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was also released by TheGamingRevo, with 10 normal maps for 6v6/10v10, 7 Gunfight maps, and 3 Ground War maps expected to be in the title at launch.

We’ll keep you updated.
