Leak reveals Black Ops Cold War Season 2 weapons
A new leak means that fans have a chance to get a sneak peek of Black Ops Cold War Season 2’s new weapons that are sure to shake up the meta.
It’s very difficult in 2021 to keep all the files for a game secure and prevent information from leaking early. For Black Ops Cold War alone, we’ve had leaks concerning map remakes, zombies perks, and even the release of League Play.
The word coming from the rumor mill is that some new weapons will be incorporated as part of the upcoming Season 2 update. The latest Call of Duty already has a stellar roster of powerful firearms, and some new additions couldn’t hurt.
The latest major update for BOCW arrived in the form of Season One Reloaded. The mid-season content welcomed a new Zombies map called Firebase Z, new playlists, and the remake of Express.
Now, it seems like Treyarch wants to add a few more toys into the mix for players to grind. Thanks to a Twitter user by the name of Tailsdoll711, we know of four weapons that should be coming to Black Ops Cold War.
Leaked Black Ops Season 2 weapons
- New Black Ops Cold War NTW-20 Sniper Rifle: A bolt-action rifle that is set to rival the LW3 and the Pelington as the de facto Sniper Rifle in Black Ops Cold War.
- New Black Ops Cold War AI-LC10 SMG: There’s not much to say about this one yet as it will be the first time this gun has ever featured in a Call of Duty game, under this name anyway.
- New Black Ops Cold War E-Tool Melee Weapon: The first of two new Melee Weapons, the E-Tool is a military combat shovel that is sure to dig up some dirt.
- New Black Ops Cold War Machete Melee Weapon: Also joining the E-Tool will be the Machete. A classic blade that can cause serious damage, and we expect it to rival the Sledgehammer and Wakizashi Sword in terms of popularity and demand.
Given that these are officially just rumors, for now, we can’t say too much more. If they are confirmed, then they are sure to be part of the big installment of Black Ops Cold War.
Once we find out official regarding Season 2 whether it’s new maps or cool new game modes, we’ll be first on the case.
