Leaked files reveal upcoming Black Ops Cold War Zombies Perks

Some leaked files have indicated that we could be getting more Black Ops Cold War zombies perks in the near-future. After only including six in the base game, a new update could be nearly doubling that amount.

There has been a slight disappointment in the zombies community with the new “Die Maschine” mode only offering six perks for players to buy. The noteworthy change to perks this year is the fact that they can now be customized and fine-tuned with upgrades.

Also, survivors can now own all of them, as opposed to the selectiveness of previous installments. But the potential forthcoming addition of new perks could change Die Maschine as we know it.

What are the new perks?

It remains unclear why Treyarch opted to only have six different perks this time around. It may have been to place more emphasis and development time on the new crafting system, the scorestreaks, etc. Regardless, it seems like Die Maschine’s content is going to benefit from new additions soon.

A YouTube user by the name of FireMonkey 2 has posted a video that hints at these new, aforementioned perks. The game currently has: Juggernog, Quick Revive, Elemental Pop, Speed Cola, Deadshot Daiquiri, and Stamin-up.

But some leaked files appear to play some new jingles that hint at four new perks to come, they are: Double Tap, Mule Kick, PHD, and Tombstone.

You can check them out in the video here.

What will they do?

It’s purely all speculation at this point of course, but several of these perks have been seen before.

If history is anything to go by, then we can expect to see similar results for these perks when they are added

  • Double Tap: Increases the fire rate of your weapons
  • Mule Kick: The player can carry three weapons at once
  • PHD: Allows the player to become immune to explosive damage, or own weapon damage
  • Tombstone: Players can drop a tombstone when downed, killing the player instantly, but when they revive, they can go and retrieve their tombstone and regain their perks/weapons

Obviously, this could just be the first batch of new perks and items to be added to the game, or it could simply be perks that were considered but eventually dropped. Either way, there’s definitely;y evidence to suggest that these leaked files for Black Ops Cold War will bring new perks to master and enjoy.
