How to upgrade armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Before looking for the Great Fairy Fountains in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will need to complete a particular side quest. Helping the Stable Trotters, a musical troupe roaming Hyrule, will make the Great Fairies come out of their hiding.

You’ll find the Stable Trotters at the Woodland Stable, southwest of the Eldin region. There, the musicians will explain that something has gone wrong. They’ll mention the Lucky Clover Gazette, so you’ll have to travel east of the Rito Village to find their newly renovated offices.

There, you’ll meet Traysi, the Lucky Clover Gazette’s Editor, and she will ask you to verify reports that assure that Zelda has been spotted near different stables. Once you initiate that quest, travel back to the Woodland Stable to talk with the Stable Trotters again.

After a short conversation, you’ll need to use Ultrahand to fix the broken wheels of their carriage. Furthermore, you’ll need to equip your horse with the Towing Harness and use Ultrahand again to attach the carriage to it. Once you do that, take the Stable Trotters to the Great Fairy. There, they’ll play a song and the Great Fairy will reveal herself so you can upgrade your armor.
