How to start Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity side quest in Zelda TOTK
In order to collect the Fierce Deity armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players must begin the Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity side quest.
The first piece you’ll want to look for is the Armor, but you’ll need to head to Cephla Lake Cave to kick off the quest. This cave is located west of Cephla Lake, and you’ll want to look for a small campfire near the entrance. We recommend warping to Kisinona Shrine and heading north.
Around the entrance of the cave is where you’ll meet Prissen and Dak, who are looking for Misko’s Treasure. Inside the cave, you’ll find a ton of decoy treasure chests that contain Green Rupees. However, if you feed Prissen and Dak’s dog, it will lead you to a worthwhile chest. Four apples should do the trick.
Once you’ve claimed the Ember Trousers in the chest, you’ll kick off the side quest.
How to get Fierce Deity Armor in Zelda TOTK
To find your way to the Fierce Deity Armor piece, make your way to the Akkala Citadel Ruins, which can be reached easily by warping to the Domizuin Shrine.
You’re looking for a chamber that Misko referred to in his letter, which can be found in the southwest corner of the main ruins area. Keep an eye out for a low hole in the wall that you’ll have to crawl through. As you enter the new area from the crawlspace, you’ll find the chest containing the Fierce Deity Armor in a hole you can drop into.
How to get Fierce Deity Mask in Zelda TOTK
The Fierce Deity Mask is located around Skull Lake, which is west of the Akkala Wilds. You’ll need to jump down a steep hole into a cave that contains the treasure chest you’re looking for.
To get there quickly, warp to the Kimayat Shrine, then glide over to the nearest pillar. You’ll need to jump down from the pillar into the hole you see below. Don’t worry, as water will break your fall.
Next, you’ll want to make your way through the cave until you reach a breakable rock wall. Blast the rocks apart and defeat the enemies on the other side. Keep in mind that a Stalnox will be waiting for you, so it may be best to avoid that fight if you’re not prepared.
You’ll find the chest containing the Fierce Deity Mask atop a platform in the very center of the cavern.
How to get Fierce Deity Boots in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To collect the Fierce Deity Boots, the third and final piece of the set, you’ll want to head south of Lookout Landing. We recommend warping to the Susuyai Shrine and climbing all the way up the western hill.
You’re looking for a tree stump in the middle of a pond. Keep an eye out for the wooden bridge that will get you to the tree stump. Once there, dive into the stump and glide to the bottom of the Ancient Tree Stump Cave.
In classic Zelda fashion, you’re going to want to slash or set some vines on fire to uncover a hidden area. Make your way to the other side of the wall through the new opening until you reach the chest containing the Fierce Deity Boots.
How to get Fierce Deity Sword in Zelda TOTK
To obtain the Fierce Deity Sword in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll first need to collect and wear the three pieces of the Fierce Deity armor set. Wearing the Fierce Deity Armor, Boots, and Mask, head to Cephla Lake Cave.
As you enter the room with the decoy chests, you’ll notice that a new area will be accessible now that you’re wearing all three pieces of the set. Open the chest that’s waiting for you at the back of the cave to pick up the Fierce Deity Sword, completing the Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity side quest.
If you’re not interested in completing the side quest for the Fierce Deity armor set and sword, you can always purchase and scan the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo to receive an item from the Fierce Deity set.
