Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to make hoverbike
NintendoIn Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one of the first vehicles you’d want to make is a hoverbike. From the Ultrahand technique to the crafting ingredients, here’s everything to know about making a hoverbike in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda franchise peaked with Breath of the Wild selling over 30 million copies. Tears of the Kingdom is a direct successor to BOTW, and although you’ll find plenty of similarities in the titles, TOTK has tons of new features that drastically improve the gameplay.
Thanks to Ultrahand, the latest Zelda game grants more creative freedom than any other entry in the franchise. You can build countless items to help you in travel and combat, and the hoverbike is one of them.
On that note, here’s how to construct and effectively utilize the hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to build a hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Ingredients required to make a hoverbike
For starters, you’re going to need two Fans and one Steering Stick to successfully make a hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
If you’re low on Zonai Devices or don’t have the required items in stock, we suggest heading to the Zonai Device Dispenser near Torin Wetland, by Tarrey Town, which has the Steering Stick you’re looking for.
Ultrahand technique to make hoverbike
To create a hoverbike in TOTK, simply use Ultrahand to connect the two Fans to the Steering Stick. Once you’ve gathered the materials to create a hoverbike in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’re ready to merge them.
To get a properly functioning hoverbike that’s easy to control, the placement of the fans is key. Attaching the Fans at the proper angle is of the utmost importance. Instead of placing the Fans flat, you’re looking to have them slightly tilted as seen in the image above.
In this approach, you achieve both elevation and forward momentum. If both are directed downwards, you’ll gain altitude, yet your battery might deplete before any significant distance is covered. By angling them, you ensure not only a successful ascent but also sufficient forward progression.
It may be a frustrating process that takes a few tries to perfect, but once you get the angles right, the hoverbike is well worth your time. We recommend trying one out as it’s not only incredibly useful to get around Hyrule, but it’s great to explore the Depths.
