A lucky Warzone player has gained access to a Blueprint for the unreleased Sykov pistol in a match of Plunder.
It’s been leaked for some time now that the RAAL LMG, CX-9 SMG, and Sykov pistol will be coming to Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone. As these are leaks, there’s no official release date but they may be coming in Warzone Season 2.
You can unlock these new weapons in survival mode and temporarily have a shot of them, but with the guns now appearing in Plunder, they’re likely on the slate to be released soon.
A lucky Warzone player has managed to access a Blueprint for the upcoming Sykov pistol in a game of Plunder.
Reddit user RestlessGoats somehow received the upcoming Sykov pistol, modeled after the classic Makarov, through the Weapon Drop Field Upgrade.
They explained that Weapon Drops usually “give a base weapon with some attachments but for some reason when I got this Sykov/Makarov pistol it was the blueprint.”

The Blueprint that RestlessGoats discovered was fully automatic, revealing an automatic-fire mod will likely be unlockable through the gunsmith.
We’ve already seen how dual pistols can dominate the Warzone meta. Early in Warzone’s life, the Akimbo Snakeshot .357 magnums were more powerful than any shotgun. Then with the release of Black Ops Cold War x Warzone Season 1, the dual Diamattis dominated all close-range fights.
These overpowered pistols have now been balanced, but we can expect the akimbo full-auto Sykov’s to be a gamechanger when they arrive in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
RestlessGoat said they also received the unreleased RAAL LMG in Plunder the day before but never posted any footage. If you’re looking to try the new weapons ahead of time, equip the Weapon Drop in Plunder, and you might just get lucky.
Warzone Season 2 is expected to release on February 24th, so it’s possible we’ll see the full potential of this fully-automatic pistol then.

Best SP-R 208 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 3
The SP-R 208 is one of Warzone’s fastest snipers, so here are the attachments and perks to make the best Warzone SP-R loadout.
The SP-R 208 is a bolt-action Marksman Rifle capable of taking out enemies at range with precision and speed, so here are the attachments and perks to make the best Warzone SP-R loadout for Season 3.
Modern Warfare snipers are split into two categories, Sniper Rifles, and Marksman Rifles. The SP-R 208 falls under the Marksman Rifle category for its speed and mobility compared to heavier Snipers such as the HDR.
With the SP-R capable of downing enemies in one headshot, combined with its fast aim down sight speed and high mobility, you’ll be able to take out teams before they know it.
Here are the attachments and perks to use with this Marksman Rifle to make the best Warzone SP-R loadout.
Best SP-R 208 Warzone loadout
Best Warzone SP-R loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: SP-R 26″
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Optic: Solozero SP-R 28mm
- Ammunition: .338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mag
This SP-R 208 is built for speed and accuracy in Warzone, as you’ll be able to ADS extremely quick and take out targets from an extreme distance.
We’d recommend pairing this SP-R 208 build with a close-range weapon such as the MAC-10 or FFAR. You’ll be able to click on heads from a distance and then whip out a close-range option for all other engagements.
You’ll usually use a bolt-action rifle at long range, so we’ve added attachments to make hitting far-off targets much easier.
The Monolithic Suppressor is essential for snipers, as it hides your shots from the radar and gives a boost to your damage range. With the speed of the SP-R, you’ll be able to land several shots before the enemies know where they’re coming from.
To vastly increase the SP-R’s damage and accuracy over range, we’ve added the SP-R 26″ barrel and the .338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mags to the best Warzone SP-R loadout. With these attachments, you’ll barely have to compensate for bullet drop or travel time. And as a bonus, upper body shots will almost always crack armor, leading to an easy finish.
To make sure you’re accurately landing these powerful shots, you should add the Solozero SP-R 28mm scope. With a 7x magnification, hitting enemies in their chest and head will be easy. To compensate for the increased zoom, you should take out your secondary in close-range situations.
A sniper needs to be unpredictable and move around during engagements, and the Tac Laser attachment will make this much easier. With increased ADS speed, you can dart between cover and take a quick shot before they can react.
Best perks for SP-R 208 Warzone loadout class
Perk 1 – Double Time
While using the best Warzone SP-R loadout, you want to be quick and unpredictable. The Double Time perk will increase the duration of Tactical Sprint, allowing you to dart around the map. The increased crouch movement speed will also be useful when strafe-shooting from behind the cover on the map.
Perk 2 – Overkill/ Ghost
As the SP-R is a long-range rifle, you need something for close-quarters combat. Overkill will allow you to take two primary weapons, so you can have an SMG at the ready for fighting up close.
Then once you’ve got both your weapons, take the Ghost perk from another loadout, pick up your weapons, and you’ll also be hidden from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.
Perk 3 – Amped
When being ambushed or needing to follow up on an armor break quickly, there’s nothing worse than the agonizing wait for your Operator to swap weapons. Amped will almost completely remove this delay, keeping you mobile and ready for any situation Warzone throws at you.
How to unlock the SP-R 208 in Warzone
Players who would like to unlock the SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle in Warzone will need to get 2 longshot kills that are headshots in 5 different matches using a Sniper or Marksman Rifle. Once you have completed this unlock challenge, you will be able to make the best Warzone the SP-R loadout to take down your enemies from afar.

JGOD explains stealth buff to Cold War optics in Warzone Season 3
Warzone stats master JGOD has given players a look at a Cold War stealth buff for optics that will no doubt help when it comes to making loadout choices.
Warzone stats wizard JGOD has given a community a look at a recent stealth buff for the Black Ops Cold War optics that look to have provided a noticeable reduction in recoil that players will no doubt want to take advantage of when playing.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War brought a plethora of content into Warzone when integrated into the Call of Duty battle royale. A large portion of this content was the various optics that players could use on their Black Ops Cold War weapons.
JGOD, who is known as the top content creator in the community when it comes to testing various things in Warzone, recently explained how a stealth buff had been applied to a couple of the optics available for players to use on their Cold War weapons in Warzone that will provide players who use them with a strong reduction in recoil.
The first test that JGOD explains in his video shows how the Axial 3x scope now provides a 20% reduction in vertical recoil compared to the iron sights for the Krig 6 firing when standing, which is the current meta Assault Rifle most players are using in Season 3.
Now, the SUSAT Multizoom Cold War optic recently emerged as the go-to weapon sight for many players. Still, JGOD explains that the Axial 3x actually provides a larger statistical reduction in recoil.
However, the nature of the Axial 3x zooming in more than the SUSAT Multizoom and having greater idle sway provides more of a visual increase in recoil, leading to more of a placebo effect regarding the SUSAT Multizoom having less recoil.
When it comes to mounting, JGOD explains that the overall reduction in recoil that having your weapon mounted in Warzone results in there not being as much as a noticeable difference in recoil reduction for the Axial 3x and SUSAT Multizoom when compared to firing a weapon with these sights when you are standing.
Moving on to the Stoner 63 LMG, JGOD shows how the same test resulted in the Axial giving the Stoner 63 a 10% reduction in vertical recoil and similarly less recoil reduction for the SUSAT Multizoom.
When it came to having the Stoner 63 mounted, JGOD found that the Axial 3x still provided a Cold War stealth buff of around a 10% reduction in recoil.
In contrast, the SUSAT Multizoom did not provide any recoil reduction for the Stoner when mounted.
Thanks to the work of JGOD, Warzone players now know that the Cold War stealth buff for the Axial 3x and SUSAT Multizoom make these two optics the best choices for players currently in Season 3.

Warzone devs confirm fix for frustrating lighting issues
Warzone Season 3 players have been reporting lighting issues following Verdansk ’84’s arrival, and the devs have promised a fix.
Warzone’s Season 3 update gave Verdansk an 80s-themed makeover, but this created some frustrating new lighting issues, which caught the attention of Raven Software, who’ve promised a fix.
With Warzone Season 3 well underway, players have the opportunity to explore the various new map changes in Verdansk ’84. Part of the new aesthetic is a vastly different color pallet, but this has caused some issues.
The new lighting systems don’t work well with the color pallet, and many players have reported a frustrating glare that’s been causing headaches. Now, the devs have assured fans that they’re working on it.
Activision sent out an accessibility survey in which they asked players about their biggest complaints about the game. Various players pointed out that the new lighting and color pallet was causing problems for them.
The glare is most notable when heading outside from an indoor location. Many players have reported having headaches as they adjusted to the change, and this hasn’t gone unnoticed by the developers.
“We’ve been monitoring this closely,” Raven Software confirmed. They’re aware of the problem, and have reassured fans that they “plan on addressing it in an upcoming update.”
The developers didn’t provide us with any specifics about how exactly they would change up the Warzone lighting. Still, we can expect them to tweak it so that players don’t develop headaches after short periods of time, which is certainly something no developer wants happening to players who are spending their time playing the games they are working on.
Aside from this, the survey also covered an improved in-game text chat and better audio options for Warzone in Season 3. There has also been some weapon nerfs in the latest update.
Raven Software and Activision have many more additions planned for Season 3 of the Call of Duty battle royale game, including the addition of 80s action hero Rambo and the new CARV.2 Tactical Rifle in the new Verdansk.
