Madden 25 early access date, time & how to play

The fan-favorite Ultimate Team, Franchise, and Superstar modes offer a brand-new experience in Madden 25, and players can play before the official release thanks to early access.

While some official EA Sports sources state that early access begins on August 13, the Madden 25 pre-orders disclaimers page reveals that you can play as early as 4 PM ET on August 12: “Product will be available to download once 3 Day Early Access period begins, August 12, 2024 4:00 pm Eastern Time.”

How to play Madden 25 early

Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle of Madden 25 will get to play early as of August 12, 2024. Alternatively, fans with an EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be granted a 10-hour game trial that also becomes available at the same time.

The full official release is scheduled for August 16, meaning those with early access from the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle will get a head start on the competition by playing on August 12, 13, 14, and 15.

With so many options to choose from, deciding which edition to purchase is more complex than ever this year. Luckily, the game remains available on a wide variety of platforms including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. This gives every type of player a shot at becoming a champion in Franchise mode.

The MVP Bundle will appeal to diehard football fans as it features the Deluxe Editions of both College Football 25 and Madden 25.
