Dynamic Storylines

Players will remember any promises you make.

Franchise mode introduces new Dynamic Storylines that can play out over the course of a week or an entire season. These storylines can even start as early as pre-season.

For instance, a player can show up to training camp out of shape, and it’s on you to get him on the right track. The game will present you with a few ways to manage the situation. The right choices will be linked to the player’s personality traits, making it essential to study their profiles.

If your management style is effective, he’ll start the season in form. But if you press the wrong buttons, he’ll be out of shape during the first few weeks.

Similarly, a rotation player could walk into your office asking for minutes on the field. If you accept his request, you’ll have to abide by it or the player will lose faith in you.

The game will feature more than 70 Dynamic Storylines, all of which take place in new environments like the team meeting room, coach’s office, press conferences, practice sideline, and the locker room.

NFL Draft Night

The glamour and excitement of Draft Night is finally coming to Madden. Franchise mode will now feature an authentic recreation of the event, complete with a real-time Draft Board, cutscenes displaying your picks getting the news, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell taking the stage.

After completing drafts, you’ll receive a draft guide that grades your picks based on how they fit into your roster and their scouting report.

Franchise Central

Franchise Central aims to provide more information at a glance.

Franchise Central is the new hub for the Franchise mode. It’ll serve as your home base right from the go, making the selection of your league type and roster clearer through expanded information. The menu will also deliver relevant information throughout your journey, ranging from top stories and reactions to your Dynamic Storyline decisions to league standings and more.

The hub is complemented by a new personal message system. This allows members from your organization, like coordinators, to offer their suggestions on things like free agent signings and training regimes.

Team Builder

Team Builder received a revamp for College Football 25‘s release, and it’s also coming to Madden 25. The feature lets you create a new franchise from the ground up using a variety of customization tools. Here’s an overview of all the things you can modify:

  • Create and upload your own logos
  • Personalization:
    • Uniforms (Home, Away, Alternate)
    • Helmets
    • Stadium
    • On-field logos
  • Roster building
    • Select existing players, or create custom ones

You’ll be able to import up to 32 custom teams into a Franchise save. Additionally, you can also check out the creations of other players through the Download Center.

Presentation updates

These changes aim to make the game more visually appealing. To kick things off, Gillette Stadium’s $250 million renovation will be reflected in the game, including their massive curved-radius video board.

New player and coach likenesses have been added to the game to ramp up the authenticity. There’s an increased focus on improving the models of rookies and rising stars so that they don’t look too shabby during Draft Night.

Lastly, you’ll notice improved animations across the board including independent animations for shoulder pads for the first time in the series’ history. You’ll be able to pick up on subtle pad shakes and the more dramatic rumbles.

New commentary teams

Madden 25 will introduce two new commentary teams: Mike Tirico and Greg Olsen, and Kate Scott and Brock Huard. Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis will also remain in the game.

Both new duos have recorded a ton of voice lines to be ready for launch, but the devs will add more in the future. You can pick whichever team you want in the box by heading into the settings.
