Major texture issues making Warzone Pacific “unplayable”
Many PlayStation players are reporting significant issues with Warzone Pacific that render the Battle Royale unplayable on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
On December 8, Call of Duty fans said goodbye to Verdansk and welcomed Caldera with open arms. Seeing as Warzone players have been stuck in Verdansk for almost two years, excitement for a new map has been at an all-time high.
Warzone Pacific launch day may not exceed expectations for a certain group of players. Frustration is beginning to mount for PlayStation players as their attempts to enjoy Warzone Pacific are being thwarted.
Warzone Pacific texture and crashing issues
There are a few separate issues that are currently ruining the Warzone Pacific experience. For starters, several players have reported the inability to even open the game.
As soon as Warzone Pacific went live on December 8, many players experienced constant crashing. Players were baffled to see such a prevalent problem run rampant only minutes after launch.
Although persistent crashing is a major issue, some would say that a separate problem is more worrisome.
Several of the game’s textures, including the various trees across Caldera, are failing to render properly. The major graphic issue makes Warzone Pacific look severely outdated. Without properly rendered settings, players cannot traverse the map.
This issue seems to be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and 5 players. Raven has stated that they are aware of these massive texture issues and are working on a fix. These issues have likely deflated much of the excitement for the new map.
Nonetheless, if you’re looking to dominate the beaches of Caldera, you may want to check out this Automaton loadout as a top Assault Rifle choice.
