Many users experiencing issues connecting to Modern Warfare and Warzone servers – Update
UPDATE – May 20th 3PM ET: Activision Support says that the issue has been resolved. All users should now be able to get online and play.
UPDATE: Activision Support has now acknowledged the issue.
Many users are currently experiencing issues accessing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone servers since late last night.
Users are being met with an Error alert saying ‘Connection Failed – Unable to Access Online Services.
This error does not appear to be affecting many players right now, but a certain set of users. Players can try restarting their console and game to get back online, but for some, restarting is not working.
At the time of this writing (10:20AM ET on May 20), official website status pages have not been updated to identity any issues.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone servers have been experiencing many issues over the last few weeks with matchmaking issues and more as many players are online due to stay at home orders and lifestyle recently.
