Meet the characters of Black Ops Cold War campaign 

The Black Ops Cold War Campaign is getting a new batch of characters, alongside fan favorite cast returning for the intense Black Ops action. 

Fan favorite Black Ops cast Frank Woods, Hudson, and Mason are all returning to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign for players to see throughout the journey. 

But, there’s also a new group of characters joining the mix as Raven Software builds this sequel to Black Ops 1. 

The new characters include Russell Adler, played by Bruce Thomas; Helen Park played by Lily Cowles; Lazar Azoulay played by Damon Dayoub; and Lawerence Sims played by Reggie Watkins. 

The game’s villain is played by Navid Negahban, who was in Showtime’s Homeland series. 

Raven Software’s Natalie Pohorski described Russell Adler as ‘America’s Monster’ and that he has a ‘dark charisma’ when shown. Adler has ‘demons’ from his past that continue to haunt him, including Vietnam. 

Throughout the story, Adler makes things personal and always gets what he wants. 

Adler is very important to the game’s entire story, and will be featured alongside Woods, Hudson, and Mason, and more of the characters. 

Yes, Frank Woods is returning, but Raven did not say who was the voice actor for him in Black Ops Cold War. Katie Saben, Raven’s Vehicle Artist, said that Woods would have his favorite vehicle with him along the story’s journey. The Banner-rocks pickup truck is Wood’s choice of vehicle and will ‘fix it as he needs.’ The vehicle in-game is recognizable and ties back to the Cold War aesthetics.
