MojangWhile Minecraft is a sandbox game that allows you to explore all the biomes, things can get tiring if you are unable to find the region you want. So here’s everything you need to know about how you can teleport to a biome in Minecraft.
Minecraft features over sixty biomes each with their unique flora, fauna, mobs, structures, and more. This makes the game more exciting as it exponentially increases the number of things you can do in various biomes.
But given the sheer number of biomes, traveling to each one, especially on foot, can take a lot of time. This is where you can use the teleport command to instantly get to the biome you want.
So here’s how to teleport to a biome in Minecraft.
Minecraft: How to teleport to a biome
To teleport to a biome in Minecraft, use the locate command followed by the teleport command. Here are the steps to do it:
- First, make sure you have cheats enabled. You can do so while creating a new world or allowing LAN connections and then enabling cheats in a pre-existing world.
- After enabling cheats, start by typing ‘/locate biome’ and hit space for various biomes to show up in a dropdown.
- Next, select the biome you want to teleport to using Tab or by typing it. For example: ‘/locate biome jungle’ and hit enter.
- The game will output the exact coordinates of the nearest Jungle biome.
- Finally, teleport to it using /tp followed by the coordinates displayed.
We also suggest ending the teleport command with ‘true’ to make sure you don’t get stuck in a block after teleporting.
