The Minnesota Call of Duty team has officially announced their logo and branding for the 2020 Call of Duty League.

The team will be called the Minnesota Rokkr.

Here’s the official team logo:

In Old Norse dialects, “røkkr” translates as “twilight,” the moment between day and night when the last light fades beyond the horizon. Røkkr is commonly associated with Ragnarøkkr (Ragnarok), the end of the world or “Twilight of the Gods” in Norse mythology.

Inspired by these legends, our modern day Røkkr is a team of chosen warriors forged in the fierce climate of the true North. As darkness falls, the Minnesota Røkkr emerge. By morning they are the last ones standing.

As with the mythical heroes who battled fate itself, the Minnesota Røkkr must unite all allies — the best players in the world, the fans who wear the colors, and the community they represent.

The Minnesota Rokkr team is owned by WISE Esports Ventures, which is in partnership with the Minnesota Vikings ownership group and Gary V.

Minnesota is the latest team to reveal their logo and roster after London Royal Ravens, Dallas Empire, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Los Angeles OpTic Gaming, Toronto Ultra, Atlanta Faze, and Florida Mutineers did over the course of the last few weeks. There’s still 3 teams left to reveal information this week, so stay tuned.
