MLG Atlanta event takes place this weekend

The next major CWL Open event takes place this weekend! MLG Atlanta kicks off February 10th, featuring over a 170 teams, taking placing in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. The teams are competing for their share of a $200,000 prize pool and CWL Pro Points.

Pool Play Groups:

During a live stream, MLG announced the Pools for MLG Atlanta, as shown above. The pools feature five teams total, with the final spot in each team to be filled by an Open Bracket Team.

Prize Pool:

1st – $80,000
2nd – $48,000
3rd – $32,000
4th – $16,000
5th – $8,000
5th – $8,000
7th – $4,000
7th – $4,000

Teams will also earn CWL Pro Points based upon their placings.

How to Watch:

There are multiple different places and ways to watch MLG Atlanta. MLG has announced that all three days of action can be viewed on MLG.tv/CallofDuty, with “source level quality to the viewers at home for the first time, and no secondary transcoding means will create a unique viewing experience that is indistinguishable from the actual game played at home.” MLG says this is possible because of a close collaboration between MLG, Activision, and Infinity Ward.
