Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded is here, and the update’s game files could have leaked that there will be an early access period for Modern Warfare 2’s campaign.

The Modern Warfare series has always been known for its blockbuster campaigns, and following the success of 2019’s reboot, players are desperate to join up with Task Force 141 once again.

While Modern Warfare 2 officially launches on October 28, it appears players might get to experience the campaign ahead of launch after a string was found in the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded game files.

Dataminer Reality has reportedly leaked a ton of Modern Warfare 2 information by pouring through game files, even finding upcoming Vanguard Operators and concept art for Treyarch’s CoD 2024.

With the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update going live, the leaker has discovered a string that seems to point towards early access for Modern Warfare 2’s campaign.

The leaker has reportedly discovered a string that states: “Campaign Early Access Available now.” Similar files have been found referencing “Modern Warfare II now available,” so this appears to reveal that Modern Warfare 2’s campaign will have an Early Access period.

How players would get early access to Modern Warfare 2’s campaign isn’t clear, nor when it could start — it could either be through the $100 Vault Edition or as one of the still unannounced pre-order bonuses.

The leaker has also discovered files for a ‘Call of Duty HQ’ which players believe will be the new launcher for the franchise, acting as a hub where you can launch all of the CoD games from.

Of course, these are only leaks for now, and nothing has been confirmed by Activision. We’ll be sure to keep you updated but in the meantime, be sure to check out the new ‘Recommended Weapons’ in Warzone and how the Serpentine Perk will finally get nerfed.
