Popular Call of Duty content creator ‘TheKoreanSavage’ has revealed a powerful one-burst M16 loadout for the Modern Warfare 2 beta.

The Modern Warfare 2 beta is well underway now, with both PC and console players getting to experience a variety of maps and modes.

Not every weapon is unlocked in the beta, and there is only a relatively small selection of weapons and receivers to choose from in the Gunsmith. Nonetheless, players have still found some impressive loadouts.

As well as figuring out how to unlock the MW2 MP5, players have also found another classic Call of Duty weapon that can be unlocked by leveling up the Icarus LMG, the M16.

Popular Call of Duty content creator TheKoreanSavage has revealed the one-shot M16 loadout he has been using and terrorizing lobbies with throughout the Modern Warfare 2 beta, so let’s get into the details.

TheKoreanSavage Modern Warfare 2 beta M16 loadout

  • Muzzle: Forge-Tac Castle Comp
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Laser: 4MW Laser Box
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

Both the Forge-Tac Castle Comp and Sakin ZX Grip will greatly steady the recoil for the M16, allowing you to stay accurate and on target to get those one-burst upper body shots.

Further, in order to help with the surprise close-range engagements when running this build, the 4MW Laser Box and Lockgrip Precision-40 underbarrel will help with hip fire accuracy and also some recoil control.

Lastly, TheKoreanSavage has chosen the Cronen Mini Red Dot which gives players a clear sight to get a better picture of the enemy when gunning them down.

For those wondering how to actually unlock the M16, all you need to do is level up the Icarus LMG to level 15 and you will unlock the M16 Receiver for it.

Make sure you check this M16 loadout, as TheKoreanSavage claims it “melts, one-burst,” even at long-range.
