The latest Modern Warfare 2 update has removed the 10v10 Mosh Pit playlist from the Call of Duty title, and players are furiously calling for the developers to bring it back permanently.

With Season 2 Reloaded in full effect, Modern Warfare 2 players are jumping into the game to explore the various changes that the update brought, such as weapon buffs and nerfs as well as the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle.

Modern Warfare 2 features plenty of fun playlists for players to battle in, and the latest playlist update ended up removing the 10v10 Mosh Pit from the game. Its absence is being felt by players who are frustrated with its removal.

Reddit user ‘Zennom8’ made a post about the 10v10 playlist’s removal in the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, and many players expressed their disappointment with the developers’ decision in the comments of the thread.

One user commented: “I was enjoying 10v10 so much. I’m bummed. Nothing to replace it at all. RIP. Maybe next playlist update we’ll get shipment and 10v10.” Another player compared the base game without 10v10 to a “running simulator.”

The reason that players are disappointed about the removal of the 10v10 Mosh Pit from Modern Warfare 2 is that the playlist allows for more intense battles as you’re more likely to encounter enemies every second than in 6v6 matches.

A few commenters stated that they’re disappointed about going “back to boring 6v6 on maps better suited for 10v10.” They made it clear that rather than removing 10v10 in playlist updates, the devs should add “maps that are 10v10 by default.”

The sentiment in the thread was that Infinity Ward’s management of the playlist is a “joke” as these changes often irritate players. Many players voiced their desire to see a “10v10 Hardcore Shipment” playlist that stays in the game permanently.
