Call of Duty is set to bring fully customizable weapon blueprints in Modern Warfare 2, which also include every attachment available for the weapon.

Warzone and recent Call of Duty games have allowed players to express themselves by offering weapon blueprints in the store that not only provide certain attachments but also a change in the cosmetic appearance of the gun.

Modern Warfare 2’s beta is just around the corner and we know it will reward players for participating. Pre-ordering the game will also give players exclusive items, including a weapon blueprint.

One issue that players have had with weapon blueprints in Warzone and previous Call of Duty games is that changing attachments on the weapon ruins the aesthetic, but it looks like that will be changing with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

One of the Modern Warfare 2 Vault Edition pre-order bonuses is the FJX Vault Weapon, which Call of Duty revealed will come with all 50 attachments.

This is the first weapon blueprint we’ve seen in Call of Duty that comes with every attachment for the weapon, and it seems to solve this issue of ruining the aesthetic of the gun if you want to change an attachment on a weapon blueprint.

As part of the new Modern Warfare 2 Gunsmith changes, a Weapon Vault is like “the Ultimate Weapon Blueprint,” according to the Call of Duty blog.

Weapon Vaults come equipped with every attachment for that particular gun, meaning that players will be able to maintain the look of the weapon blueprint while changing the attachments.

Players seem to be happy about this, with one player commenting under our Twitter post saying “they should just do this with every single bundle.”

It’s unclear if these Weapon Vaults will be replacing weapon blueprints, as they could coexist. We’ll have to wait and see, but for now, make sure you check out whether Modern Warfare 2 will have an FOV slider on console.
