Modern Warfare Beta Live Now: Early Access on Xbox One and PC; Open Beta on PS4

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Crossplay Beta has arrived.

Starting now, Xbox One and PC players that pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can play the Modern Warfare Beta in Early Access! And, all PlayStation 4 players can jump back into the action as the Open Beta on that platform continues!

This weekend of the Beta features Cross Play between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, allowing players on all platform to play with and against each other. You can invite your friends through the Activision friends feature and play with all players — regardless of platform. More information on Cross Play is available here.

Here’s a look at the content available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta now:

Maps/Modes:

• TDM: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
• DOM: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
• HQ: Azhir Cave (Day), Hackney Yard (Day), Gun Runner
• HQ: 10v10 Grazna Raid
• DOM: 10v10 Grazna Raid

Playlists:

• Featured Playlist: Cyber Attack
• Featured Playlist: 2v2 Gunfight – King, Pine, Stack

Additional Intel:

• Mini map is now on (will not display enemy fire)
• Teammate outlines will be turned off
• Level Cap: Level 20

For Xbox One and PC players, the Open Beta will begin on Friday, Sept. 20 at 6PM PT — allowing all players on all platforms to get online and try out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ahead of its October 25 launch.

Weekend 2 of the Modern Warfare Beta ends on September 23 at 10AM PT.
