Steam players were delighted when Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 arrived on Steam, but now previous Call of Duty games – Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard – have arrived on Steam with a massive discount.

Starting with Black Ops 4, the Call of Duty franchise left Steam and became exclusive to Activision Blizzard’s own Battle.net. Many PC players prefer to keep all of their games in one place and were delighted when CoD finally came back to Steam with 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

The devs confirmed Modern Warfare 2 was only the start, and now Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard have hit Steam with a major discount.

To celebrate their arrival on Steam, you can get Modern Warfare, Cold War, and Vanguard for 50% off until March 23, so make sure you pick them up soon.

This will include the campaigns, multiplayer, and Cold War’s highly praised Zombies mode. It doesn’t seem like Warzone Caldera can be played through Steam though, as the download only contains files for multiplayer, campaign, and Spec Ops.

Unfortunately, there won’t be much going on in these games anymore, as Activision has shifted its focus to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 with Season 2 Reloaded, Sledgehammer Games’ rumored CoD 2023, and Treyarch’s CoD 2024 still to come.

This means that the only Call of Duty games missing from Steam are Call of Duty 3 (which never received a PC port), Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, and 2018’s Black Ops 4.

There’s a chance we’ll also see these Call of Duty games arrive on Xbox Game Pass in the future, as Microsoft intend to bring Activision’s games to their subscription service once the acquisition is approved and finalized.
