Infinity Ward plans for customization content in Modern Warfare to be ‘realistic and relevant’

Users on Reddit have posted a thread asking Infinity Ward about the customization content in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

One of the big requests was about how the customization content will look and fit into the overall theme of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game. The Reddit post is titled, “Please do not have pink, rainbow, glowing, random unrealistic skins for our character.”

Infinity Ward’s Art Director has responded to this thread stating that they plan for Modern Warfare’s content to be “realistic and relevant.”

Whether that holds up through the game’s life cycle has yet to be determined of course. Previous Call of Duty games have had some crazy, out-there style customization items that many would not expect in a FPS military shooter, but some fans do enjoy a broad style of customization content to change up their character’s look.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Reveal takes place August 1.
