Survival Mode is only content that is exclusive to PS4 in Modern Warfare

With the announcement of the Survival mode being exclusive to PS4 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for one year, many fans started wondering if there will be any other content pieces that will exclusive on PS4 as well with the game.

Activision revealed last week that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s post launch content will be operating differently with new MP maps, Special Ops missions, MP modes, and other content all releasing on all platforms at the same time with Crossplay support.

They also mentioned that PlayStation would get an ‘exciting Day 1 advantage.’ It’s now revealed that the Survival mode of Special Ops, which is a just a ‘sliver’ of the Special Ops experience is the advantage.

Infinity Ward’s Narrative Director stated on Twitter after being asked by a fan what other content would be only on PS4 that everyone other aspect of the game is available on all platforms Day 1 and that the Survival mode is the only part that is timed exclusive.

He said there’s NO other content in Modern Warfare exclusive to any other platform.
