All Mortal Kombat 1 currencies
There are a total of four currencies in Mortal Kombat 1:
- Koins
- Seasonal Kredits
- Dragon Krystals
- Krowns
Here’s a breakdown for each of these currencies, including how to earn them and what you can spend them on.
Koins
Koins in Mortal Kombat 1 are the most common form of currency in the game that players will gain after completing matches and playing modes such as online, Invasion, Towers, training challenges, and more. Completing daily and weekly quests will also earn you Koins in MK1.
You can use Koins in the Shrine, where you can claim randomized loot box-style prizes for 1000 Koins, including cosmetics and more.
Seasonal Kredits
Seasonal Kredits in Mortal Kombat 1 are the silver coins that can be earned in a similar fashion by completing matches online and Invasion and also by completing daily and weekly quests.
These can be used in the “Seasonal Items” section of the in-game store to purchase limited-time cosmetics.
Dragon Krystals
Dragon Krystals are the real money equivalent in Mortal Kombat 1. They are the only currency that can be purchased with real money, and they can be used to purchase cosmetic items in the Premium Items section of the MK1 store, which includes cosmetics and resources like Easy Fatality Tokens.
Krowns
Krowns in MK1 are exclusive to the new Invasion mode, and they are earned by playing the mode. You can spend this currency in the Invasion mode’s store to purchase consumable items that can then be used in the mode.
