All Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters & how to get them

After all fighters from the first Kombat Pack arrived in Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm Studios officially announced what players can expect from the Khaos Reigns DLC.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Mortal Kombat 1 DLC, including details on the characters and more.

Khaos Reigns characters in Mortal Kombat 1

• Noob Saibot – September 24, 2024
• Cyrax – September 24, 2024
• Sektor – September 24, 2024
• Ghostface – TBA
• Conan the Barbarian – TBA
• T-1000 – TBA

After their last appearance as playable characters in MKX, Cyrax and Sektor, the cyborg duo, will finally return in MK1. Noob Saibot, a regular in the franchise, will also be returning with the Khaos Reigns expansion. These three fighters will arrive on September 24, 2024.

Before the game’s release, NeatherRealm’s Chief Creative Officer Ed Boon teased that Ghostface could arrive in Mortal Kombat 1 when he shared an image featuring many horror icons like Michael Myers and Chucky. Ghostface’s arrival was confirmed during the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 panel.

Terminator’s T-1000 was also part of earlier leaks, as voice actors revealed Robert Patrick would be doing the voicework for the fighter. Conan the Barbarian is the other collab from the list and it seems to fit right in MK’s bloody universe. These collabs haven’t confirmed their release dates yet, so stay tuned.

The devs haven’t teased any more Kameo Fighters at the time of writing.

How to get Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters

MK1’s Kombat Pack DLC can be bought from your platform’s store, through the Premium or Kollector’s Edition, or by purchasing the Khaos Reigns Bundle. All these options include all the characters in the first DLC.

The Khaos Reigns content can be bought separately as an expansion if you already have the Kombat Pack fighters. This option includes the story expansion alongside the six additional characters mentioned above.
