Mortal Kombat 1 has included “Test Your Might,” one of the most popular mini-games that has been a part of several editions of the legendary NetherRealm franchise. This particular mode can be found across the main campaign and the Invasions mode, and it has several rewards for every Mortal Kombat character in the roster.
Introduced in 1992 as a part of the original Mortal Kombat, “Test Your Might” was an interlude between fights that recorded players’ progress and rewarded them with bonus points. Here’s everything you need to know about Mortal Kombat 1 new “Test Your Might” mini-game.
Mortal Kombat 1 “Test Your Might” mini-game explained
To play “Test Your Might” in Mortal Kombat 1, you’ll have to constantly smash your controller’s buttons to fill a power meter.
However, you’ll get only ten seconds to achieve the amount of power needed to Strike, which can also be tricky because you can miss the mark altogether and fill the meter more than is required.
If you win, you’ll be awarded with bonus points, but if you lose, you’ll activate a sequence where a disgruntled spectator (usually a character of Mortal Kombat’s roster) will throw something at you and kill you.
Test Your Might rewards in Mortal Kombat 1
While you complete challenges such as “Test Your Might” in Mortal Kombat 1, you’ll be rewarded with cosmetics that can be applied to the game’s entire roster.
These rewards in Mortal Kombat 1 will include announcer voices, taunts, new finishers, pieces of cosmetic gear, and color palettes. You can also unlock Talismans, which can be used while in combat to gain extra projectiles or shield against extra hits.
Remember that Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasions mode receives updates every six weeks, so each new season will give different rewards to players.
