Havik’s fatalities are some of the most brutal ones in the franchise.

To unlock Havik, you will need to beat the Story Mode once in Mortal Kombat 1. Although this might sound tedious at first glance, MK stories are not generally a 50-hour agenda. The franchise is known for having really short campaigns, around 5-6 hours at max.

Although fighting and honing your combat skills is the major aspect of Mortal Kombat 1, the Story Mode serves as the central plot of the game. It is the single most effective tool to learn about the characters, their histories, and their motivations for battle. So there is always a plus point of completing Story Modes in MK games.

As mentioned earlier, Mortal Kombat 1 also acts as a direct sequel to Mortal Kombat 11. The previous title’s Story Mode was well-received, involving shifting timelines and characters such as Liu Kang and Kung Lao fighting their alternate selves.

Coming back to Havik, he has been quite regular in the MK series even though he hasn’t been a playable character since 2006. The fans have often appreciated his cameo appearances in recent titles. This is why his coming back in the official Mortal Kombat 1 lineup is a piece of great news for the fans who love themselves some brutal combat.
