From PlayStation to Xbox to PC, Mortal Kombat 1 is available almost everywhere and the developers have released a few editions that come at different prices and with different bonuses so choosing the right one can be difficult.
While the core experience which includes the main story and line-up is the same in every edition, players who are ready to pay more for premium or collector’s edition of the game often get special perks such as early access, exclusive characters, in-game currency, and more.
On that note, here’s what you get in every edition of Mortal Kombat 1 editions including the pre-order bonus.

Mortal Kombat 1 editions & prices
Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in three different editions.
While some editions have more content than others, the pre-order bonuses that players will receive are the same, no matter what edition they buy.
Mortal Kombat 1 Standard Edition
The Mortal Kombat 1 Standard Edition costs $69.99 in both physical and digital form. It only includes the base game, but players who pre-order it will receive exclusive bonuses.
Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition
The Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 can be purchased physically and digitally for $109.99. It includes the base game, just like the Standard Edition, along with the following contents:
- Kombat Pack
- Early access to the game beginning September 14
- 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency)
The Kombat Pack gives players early access to six new playable DLC characters that will be available sometime after launch. It also includes a Johnny Cage skin inspired by actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and access to five new Kameo Fighters that will also be available after launch.
Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition content & price
The Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition is only available to purchase physically for $249.99. It includes all the Premium Edition content, including early access to the game. On top of that, here are the Kollector’s Edition exclusive bonus content:
- A 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture designed by COARSE
- Three exclusive art prints
- A steel case
- 1,450 additional Dragon Krystals
Mortal Kombat 1 pre-order bonuses
Players who pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 1 got Shang Tsung as a playable fighter as the main pre-order bonus, regardless of the platform. It is not yet known if players will be able to get Shang Tsung outside of this.
Additionally, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players who pre-ordered the game received access to the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta, which took place in August 2023.
