Mortal Kombat 1 is set to bring the iconic MK universe back to the fighting game scene in a revitalized fashion, with classic characters being reimagined to spice things up in a new generation.

As we edge closer to release, fans have many questions regarding Mortal Kombat 1, including when they will be able to get their hands on the brutal fighting title. Luckily, the devs are offering an early access period.

Here’s how you can get early access to Mortal Kombat 1 and play the game five days early.

How to get Mortal Kombat 1 early access & play early

In order to get early access to Mortal Kombat 1, players must pre-order the Premium or Kollector’s Edition of the game on their selected platform of choice. Doing so will grant you the ability to download and play Mortal Kombat 1 early on September 14, 2023, as opposed to waiting for the official September 19 launch.

Here’s the price of each of these Mortal Kombat 1 editions, as well as the content included:

  • Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition – $109.99 / £89.99
    • Kombat Pack
    • Early access to the game beginning September 14
    • 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency)
  • Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition -$249.99 / £239.99
    • All Premium Edition content including early access
    • A 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture designed by COARSE
    • Three exclusive art prints
    • A steel case

You can purchase these editions of MK1 on the online stores of either the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, or PC (Steam or Epic Games Launcher).
