Mortal Kombat 1 has a sizable roster featuring both new and returning characters. With the addition of Kameo fighters, the roster has been buffed even further while also being a neat gameplay mechanic. As with previous entries in the franchise, Mortal Kombat 1 will receive new characters as part of the Kombat Pack DLC.

Mortal Kombat 1: Quan Chi release date
Quan Chi will arrive in Mortal Kombat 1 on December 14, 2023 as part of the early access period for Kombat Pack owners. The evil sorcerer will be available for all players to purchase on December 21, 2023.
Quan Chi Fatalities in MK1
Quan Chi’s gameplay trailer provided an early glimpse at one of his Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 1. In it, the sorcerer summoned sharp slabs of glass over Sub-Zero’s head before slamming them down with tremendous force.
The impact sliced Bi-Han into literal pieces allowing for a look at the gory remains. The character’s tattered body then collapses lifelessly without drawing even a hint of emotion from Quan Chi.
How to get Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1
To get Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1, players must own the Kombat Pack DLC. The DLC can be purchased for £34.99/$39.99 as an add-on for the base game. It is also bundled with the game’s Premium and Kollector’s editions.
Quan Chi will likely be available as a standalone purchase after release, seeing as Omni-Man can be purchased separately despite being a part of Kombat Pack 1.
