Mysterious “Iron Wolf Project” Web Site Appears

FAKE. Don’t get too excited. The “Iron Wolf” name has been floating around the internet for months prior to the release of Modern Warfare 3. One of our inside sources indicated “Iron Wolf” was the code name for the Modern Warfare 3 Internal Beta which is why some people on Xbox Live reported seeing Activision employees playing it at one time.

Iron Wolf = I.W.= Infinity Ward.

Our best guess is that this web site might be for some fan made project and is just borrowing the name to get attention, much like FindMakarov.com did when it first showed up. If we hear anything new we’ll keep you posted.. Oh, and “Treyerch” is spelled Treyarch 😉
