A group of NBA content creators have had the opportunity to play early and test the new NBA 2K24, but the developers have encountered pretty negative opinions. Here’s all you need to know.

The anticipation surrounding the release of the new NBA 2K24 continues to grow as the days go by. Throughout most of August, the developers will be making Deep Dive announcements for each of the game modes, as well as gameplay innovations and more.

However, some NBA players and renowned content creators have already had the opportunity to play NBA 2K24 early, and their comments have surprised both fans and outsiders. Here’s what they had to say.

Content creators have negative opinions about the new NBA 2K24

A short video has got viral in which Davo Migo and iPodKingCarter state that the new NBA 2K24 is the “same game” as NBA 2K23, it’s “nothing too crazy,” it just has “a couple [new] additions.”

This video was filmed during the NBA 2K24 Community Day in Las Vegas, where a large number of NBA content creators had the opportunity to play the new NBA 2K24 early.

Finally, Dirk_JDR, an NBA 2K esports caster, and Twitch content creator mentioned on X (formerly Twitter) that the community “says the same things every year” but changes their opinion when the game drops.

We’ll have to wait until September 8 for the NBA 2K24 community to determine whether the new game from 2K Games is a copy of NBA 2K23 or if there will be changes that truly improve the gameplay experience.
