With NBA 2K25‘s release date, cover stars, and platforms confirmed, the devs have released the official PC requirements for the upcoming title. For the first time ever, the PC port will come with next-gen visuals and features such as ProPlay, putting it on par with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.

PC players can also look forward to modes like The W and MyNBA, both of which were missing in NBA 2K24. However, this shift to next-gen comes with steeper system requirements. So, here are the minimum and recommended PC requirements for NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K25 PC requirements

Minimum

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit) or latest version
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4 GB or AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GB or Intel Arc A580
  • Storage type: SSD required

The minimum requirements for NBA 2K25 are a noticeable step up from its predecessor, which could run on a GeForce GT 450 that had just 1 GB of VRAM.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit) or latest version
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5700 8 GB or Intel Arc A770

The Recommended PC requirements fall in line with what most modern AAA titles demand. So, you’ll need a mid-range system to be able to run the game smoothly without compromising on visual quality.

NBA 2K25 file size on PC

NBA 2K25 will take up around 150 GB of space on your system. This is hardly a surprise since the previous title was also similarly heavy in terms of storage. You’ll also need to ensure the game is installed on an SSD.
