Call of Duty players on mobile will not have to wait much longer for their next fix as Season 13 is almost here. To keep the anticipation bubbling, a new EMP scorestreak has been announced for CoD Mobile and it could be a game-changer.
The popularity of CoD mobile is unwavering and it means that more exciting content is needed to satisfy the thirst of handheld Call of Duty fans.
Season 13’s “Winter War” is approaching and similar to Season 1 of BOCW/Warzone, the new update will introduce lots of content. A hot addition, announced by Activision, is going to be the inclusion of an EMP scorestreak that can eliminate all enemy, electrical devices.
EMP Scorestreak in COD Mobile
It’s not the first time an EMP device has been seen in a Call of Duty game before, but it still doesn’t lessen the impact the scorestreak could have. Once triggered, the EMP device will single-handedly knock out all scorestreaks, dot sights, and anything else that requires electricity to operate.
Even if you’ve spent the whole game working hard to earn a VTOL, one EMP will wipe it out in an instant. But players worried about the impact the EMP could have on the game shouldn’t worry as it will take a considerable effort to unlock.
The EMP Scorestreak will require a huge total of 1300 points to unlock, meaning it’s now the third-hardest to get. So they won’t be used frequently, and people may still opt to save for a VTOL anyway.
Call of Duty: Mobile’s official Twitter page showed off the incoming device, showing off its capabilities. The video shows an XS1 Goliath, Shield Turret, Stealth Chopper, and even a VTOL all being destroyed in a split-second, thanks to the EMP Scorestreak.
It will be arriving in the new Season 13 update along with the new Peacekeeper MK2 and QXR weapons and much more.
CoD Mobile Season 13 starts on December 22.

CoD Mobile Season 1: release date, weapons, new map & more
Some new details have been revealed by the developers about Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1, which is titled New Order.
Activision have revealed new details about what we can expect to see in Call of Duty: Mobile when Season 1 goes live on January 26. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming update.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 13 is almost over, and a new update is planned to start 2021 with a bang. Activision considers the upcoming Season to be a fresh new start so they’ve called it Season 1, instead of Season 14.
Now, the devs have given us a closer look at the latest community update. They revealed that Season 1 is officially titled New Order, and showed off some of the exciting new content that will be added to the Battle Royale.
With the new Season set to begin on January 26, we’ll go over everything that’s confirmed by the developers so far.
New weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1
Two new weapons were revealed for New Order earlier this week through some teasers. The Famas burst rifle and SKS marksman rifle were originally in Modern Warfare, and will now be making their way to COD: Mobile Season 1.
Activision has now revealed some new details about these weapons – including how to unlock them in the game. The Famas burst assault rifle will become available to you right away if you own the Season One battle pass.
The second weapon can be unlocked by completing a new seasonal challenge, which makes it similar to the QXR from last Season. These are both ideal choices for long-range combat situations, so be sure to get them when the update goes live.
New COD: Mobile Season 1 multiplayer map
Activision teased a map earlier today that closely resembles one from the previous test builds, and now they’ve revealed a brand-new one that will be a part of Season 1. They initially tested it on a public test server in December 2020.
The medium-sized area is an abandoned city that will be a new addition to the COD universe. The developers compared it to Cage from earlier Seasons, and the infrastructure has been ruined over time.
You’ll be able to take on other players in a shopping district that’s filled with unfinished holiday decorations. This multiplayer map might be titled Rebirth, and you can expect to run into enemies around every corner.
New game modes in COD: Mobile Season 1
We found that Attack of the Undead would be returning to COD: Mobile in the last public test. This mode has the undead try to kill a group of survivors before the time runs out, while the latter try to survive until the end of the round.
The game mode starts with 2 randomly selected players who are zombies, and they’ll have access to a proper loadout. This sounds fun enough on its own, but now the devs have confirmed that a new Battle Royale mode will also be introduced in New Order.
They haven’t revealed details about it, but have reassured fans that we’ll see that information soon. They also mentioned that their goal is to have multiple limited-time BR modes ready to try for most of the Season.
Bug fixes and other changes in COD: Mobile Season 1
As expected, there are a variety of bug fixes planned for the update. While we don’t have specifics about what will be worked on, the devs reassured fans that they’ve listened to complaints. So, there will be a great focus on detailed bug reports and feedback.
Activision also answered a few fan questions that have been asked about Season 1 throughout the previous community updates. Through this, they were able to confirm some exciting new things about New Order.
Ghost and few other operators will be getting new voiceovers in this update. The Season will also focus on having a fantastical theme, with much of the gameplay revolving around the use of futuristic tech. So they’re moving away from the military theme.
There were rumors that the Overkill perk would be added in this update, but it seems that the developers have no plan to implement it anytime soon.
“No, have no intention of adding this perk until we feel weapons are nearly perfectly balanced due to how much it would affect weapon balance.”

We also won’t be seeing any major Gunsmith updates in the upcoming season, but they did write that “there are aspects of this being tweaked constantly and some of that should be coming soon.”
That covers everything we know so far about Call of Duty: Mobile New Order. With Season One just around the corner, we can expect to hear more news within the coming week. Once we do, we’ll be sure to update you.

Two Modern Warfare weapons come to CoD Mobile Season 1
New weapons are returning with the release of CoD Mobile Season 1 in 2021, as confirmed by the developers.
Activision has confirmed two weapons from the Modern Warfare franchise will be added to CoD Mobile in Season One of 2021.
CoD Mobile Season One will include more returning weapons from beloved Call of Duty games, with the Modern Warfare franchise being the first flavor of the year. Season 13 “Winter War” brought players holiday Raid & Nuketown from Black Ops, along with the Fennec, Razorback, and AGR 556.
The weapons were confirmed via the official CoD Mobile Twitter account, showing players two mysterious new weapons.
The first tweet reads “A new weapon is approaching, can you guess what it is?” with an image of a Famas attached below. This teaser hints at the return of the fan-favorite Modern Warfare weapon, which made its most recent appearance in the 2019 release under the name “FFAR”.
The Famas is well known to be a high-power, medium-range rifle capable of taking out targets in one to two bursts consistently. The Modern Warfare 2 iteration is by far the best of the franchise. For firepower purposes, let’s hope we see something similar.
Following the Famas teaser, a second one was posted soon after with the caption “Wait… there’s more?! Can you guess what weapon this is?” with an image of an SKS attached. The SKS appeared in Modern Warfare 2019 and was a marksman rifle.
The SKS offers modest firepower at long range for a semi-automatic rifle, which allows players to take out crowds with ease. The recoil is a bit extreme, but this weapon is meant to reward the most skilled players.
Following CoD trends, these weapons may not drop into the game with the same names. The Famas may be called the FFAR like in Modern Warfare 2019, and the SKS may have a completely different name.
We expect these weapons to drop with the CoD Mobile 2021 Season One Update.

Attack of the Undead could be returning to COD Mobile
Attack of the Undead could be returning to Call of Duty mobile, as revealed in the most recent test build.
The Attack of the Undead mode could be making another return to COD Mobile in the coming weeks.
The popular 20 player battle royale limited-time mode, Attack of the Undead has been teased via the January test build for COD Mobile.
This mode pits survivors vs undead, with the goal of the undead to kill all survivors before the time runs out. Survivors on the other hand, simply need to live long enough for the timer to hit 0 to win. The game will begin with 2 randomly selected players to be zombies, who will originally be dropped in with their loadout.
After 2 additional players are infected, zombies will spawn in with knives instead. This is where teamwork will become paramount, as closing in the distance to a survivor will require lots of teammates for distractions. Survivors should also use the beginning of the game to loot up and secure an area to survive.
Once one survivor is remaining, they’ll be granted a death machine and extra health as a boost. As survivors score kills, they’ll be granted various perks to fight off the undead. Here’s the list:
- Vulture: Collect ammo from kills. (Scavenger)
- Amped: Faster weapon swap and reload speed.
- Restock: Faster operator skill activation.
Hopefully we’ll see this mode implemented into the next major COD mobile update.
