New leak claims Shipment returns in CoD Vanguard: All maps revealed
Thanks to some data mining of the Call of Duty: Vanguard’s files, it seems like we may know all of the maps that will debut with the game’s release date.
It’s already been confirmed by Sledgehammer Games that we can expect to see a whopping 20 maps at launch for Call of Duty: Vanguard. This will be comprised of 16 different 6v6 maps, and 4 Champion Hill Arenas too.
So far across the Alpha and Beta, we’ve seen one of the four Champion Hill maps, and 4 of the 6v6 maps: Red Star, Hotel Royal, Gavutu, and Eagle’s Nest.
But it seems like a leaker has been able to data mine the remaining maps we can possibly expect to see at launch in Call of Duty: Vanguard.
As posted by Twitter user @HeyImAlaix, we can see all the existing maps we’ve seen so far, some of the other confirmed, but not yet seen maps, in Dome and Castle, and a bunch of other locations.
A couple of interesting observations to note are that Gavutu has a potential second version of itself, Hotel Royal is misspelled, the classic fan-favorite map Shipment could be returning, and the list has 27 maps in total on it.
Now, we should note that some of these maps could be leftover names from the engine files with some of them being so similar to Modern Warfare. You should also remember to not take this information as gospel.
If this does indeed turn out to be representative of maps that will be coming to Vanguard, then it’s possible that a few of these are being saved and readied for the expected Season 1 launch and integration with Warzone.
