New leaks suggest Bully 2 was canceled due to GTA 6

Some new leaks are pointing to Rockstar Games having canceled the long-awaited Bully sequel that was in the works.

Fans of Bully are bound to be disappointed by some new leaks which suggest that in 2017, Rockstar canceled ‘Bully 2’ in order to shift their focus towards the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.

Rockstar’s Bully released in 2006 and became a classic. Applying the chaos and open-world elements of Grand Theft Auto to a high school setting proved to be successful, and fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel ever since.

Over the years there have been many different rumors regarding Bully 2’s development, but nothing concrete has been confirmed by the developers themselves. Now some new leaks have emerged, which made it clear that Rockstar Games have other priorities at the moment.

Rockstar canceled Bully 2 to focus on GTA 6

The leaks suggest that Rockstar stopped development of the Bully sequel, officially canceling it in 2017. This information came from reliable Rockstar leaker Tez2 over on GTA Forums, and was originally reported by DualShockers.

Bully 2 was also reportedly in development in the late 2000’s, and then got canceled in the early 2010’s. This news is bound to disappoint fans who have been demanding a sequel for the past 14 years, but there is a silver lining.

According to Tez2, Rockstar Games halted work on the sequel so that they could focus their efforts on the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 instead. Another reliable leaker known as Yan2295 verified what Tez2 said to be correct.

GTA forums discussing Bully being canceled

Although it’s disappointing that we won’t be revisiting Bullsworth anytime soon, it makes sense why Rockstar would make this decision. GTA is their biggest and most popular franchise, and this sixth installment is promising to be the biggest one yet.

That said, it’s still exciting to know that we might get GTA 6 much sooner than expected. However, you should keep in mind that these are still just rumors, and we shouldn’t take them as absolute fact until we hear from the developers.

At the moment, we have no definite answers regarding GTA 6 or Bully 2. We’ll keep checking for developments, and we’ll be sure to update you once we learn something.

Fortnite leaks reveal more Season 6 vehicle mods

Fortnite Season 6 saw the introduction of vehicle mods, with leaks suggesting some interesting future options for your vehicle.

New Fortnite leaks have been revealed speculating some upcoming vehicle mods to compliment the already well-received Chonkers off-road tires.

Fortnite Season 6 saw the introduction of the previously teased vehicle mods, with some leaks suggesting additional interesting options for you to customize your vehicle.

Fortnite’s Update v16.20 saw the introduction of the first vehicle mod, the Chonkers-offroad tires, that helps traction and handling when players tackle off-road terrain. However, there could soon be some other interesting mods coming into the game soon.

Fortnite season 6 vehicle mods

Fortnite data miner, @Hypex, took to Twitter to reveal “2 more unreleased car mods categories.” The categories will include Front Bumpers and Rear Bumpers.

One item in Front Bumpers is the “Scoop,” which is most likely a feature that will allow players to destroy structures effortlessly and scoop enemies. The other mod found in the files is for the Rear Bumpers called the “Mega Booster,” which is probably some kind of rocket-powered boost that will increase the velocity of the car.

Hypex also mentioned a mounted gun, which could also be a Rear Bumper mod that will see players hopping on the back of vehicles to gun opponents down.

The most interesting aspect of these leaks, however, is the mention of “interactable mod garages,” which could potentially be some sort of station that players can mod their cars in. This does some fairly outlandish, especially considering that in the current version of Fortnite, players can find mods on the ground and simply attach them to vehicles.

However, a modding station may be useful for those who are unable to find this loot on the ground, or if players are just looking for a particular mod.

Either way, this all sounds exciting and could be implemented in the current season of Fortnite. If you were interested in this article, why not check out our guide on Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 challenges.

Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 Quests

The challenges will release on April 15, but thanks to leakers in the community, we can see the challenges ahead of their release.

Here’s the full list of Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 Quests:

  • Deal damage with SMGs (1000)
  • Search ammo boxes (5)
  • Use a campfire (1)
  • Modify vehicles with off-road tires (3)
  • Drive from Sweaty Sands to Colossal Crops without leaving the vehicle (1)
  • Maintain a speed of 65 or greater for 4 seconds in a vehicle (1)
  • Get 2 seconds of airtime in a vehicle (2)

These challenges are simple for the most part and can be completed by regularly play. We recommend completing these challenges in Team Rumble, as the competition is less fierce and you’ll have more opportunities to complete them.

To equip the off-road tires, you can follow our guide on how to mod vehicles in Season 6. Once you’ve equipped the tires, you can complete the other vehicle-based challenge like driving from Sweaty Sands to Colossal Crops without leaving the vehicle. Getting two seconds of air time may be difficult, but you can always build yourself a ramp.

There is also a Legendary quest to complete for extra XP where you’ll need to find 5,000 Gold Bars. You’ll get XP for every 1000 found, so this challenge is well worth completing. You won’t be able to complete this in Team Rumble alone, but you can follow our guide on how to earn Gold Bars in Fortnite.

That’s everything for Week 4! Make sure to get as much Gold as you can and spend some time in vehicles and you’ll have them completing before next week’s release.

Apex Legends replaces Second Chance for Armor Regen due to bugs

Apex Legends devs addresses progression bugs for new War Games event, replacing Second Chance for Armor Regen.

Apex Legend’s new mini-event War Games went live yesterday. However, the first mode Second Chance was soon replaced after it introduced a host of bugs.

Upon the release of the Apex Legends War Games event, it seems the first mode wasn’t quite ready for players after it introduced a progression bug.

Players were noticing that kills and assists weren’t adding up after the game was ending, which the developers addressed on Twitter saying, “A bug with the Second Chance takeover in @PlayApex has prevented some stats from updating correctly,” leading them to replace it with Armor Regen.

Armour Regen prize tracker

War Games mode Armor Regen is simple, if you are out of action for a short amount of time, your shield will regenerate – like Wattson but much faster. Players will still have to be careful though, as if your shield fully breaks, it will take much longer to regenerate.

This leads to exciting fights, where characters with mobility like Pathfinder, Octane, and Horizon will excel, allowing them to get in and out of fights and regen their armor.

This update will allow players to make progress on the prize tracker for the Apex Legends event, which was bugged during the Second Chance mode.

The prize tracker features epic Rampart and 30-30 Repeater skins and can be completed by simply playing the game and completing event challenges. You can view the prize tracker underneath the War Games event challenges on the left side of the Apex Legends lobby screen.

Apex developers Respawn Entertainment addressed the situation quickly, adjusting the War Games schedule to replace Second Chance with the Armor Regen takeover. Armor Regen will now take its place in the schedule, lasting until Thursday, April 15th.

The next mode on the schedule is Ultra Zones! For more on Apex Legends event War Games and the upcoming Season 9 content, stay tuned on Charlie Intel.
