UPDATE: Due to network issues that effected PlayStation Network (PSN service has now been restored for both PS4 and PS3) and the Xbox Live issues, the Double XP in the One Shot playlist has been extended until Dec. 30th at 9AM PT. Stay tuned for more updates.

Original Story:

Sledgehammer Games has turned on Double XP for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on all platforms today in the new One Shot playlist, and the Double XP in this playlist will end on Dec. 29th at 9am PT. The One Shot playlist will remain in the Bonus Playlist category.

The new One Shot mode is a sniper-only playlist, and features five classes for fans to use (create-a-class is disabled while playing in this mode). The playlist has decreased health for players, and each class features the MORS sniper rifle, with no secondary weapons. This new mode was designed by the development team and with the help of OpTic NaDeSHoT:

Due note, because of server issues on all platforms and because of PlayStation Network issues for many, Sledgehammer Games has stated that they will provide updates on Double XP extension. Stay tuned for more information on that and for information on network statuses.
