New Sniper Rifle coming to CoD Mobile Season 2

Call of Duty: Mobile will be bringing in another weapon from Modern Warfare 2019 in Season 2, as the SP-R 208 has been confirmed for the battle royale’s next major update.

Activision and TiMi Studios have been dropping teasers for Season 2 of CoD Mobile, which will launch soon after Season 1 ends on March 10. They’ve showcased many of the new maps and weapons that will come with the next content drop.

Now, it’s been confirmed that the SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle will be making its way to CoD Mobile in the upcoming update. This is the second weapon from Modern Warfare 2019 to be added to this game, along with the AS Val

SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle confirmed for CoD Mobile

The CoD Mobile Twitter account shared another Season 2 teaser on February 28, in which they announced that a familiar gun that will be making its way to CoD Mobile soon.

“Another new weapon is coming [in Season 2] and you might recognize it… can you guess what it is?” the account teased. Fans were immediately able to identify it as the SP-R208 from Modern Warfare 2019.

The devs confirmed that the mobile version of this rifle will become available next season. The weapon established itself as a solid pick upon its initial release, and many players often incorporated it into their loadouts.

While this marksman rifle’s pick rate has decreased in recent times due to the popularity of other stronger Warzone weapons, it’s still an ideal choice for long and medium-range combat due to its versatility.
