Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 1 is set to bring new Operators to the game, but some feel one skin in particular could have the same issue as the notorious Roze Operator.

Warzone and Vanguard are set to get a load of new content. With Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 1, players can expect a fresh Battle Pass with new weapons and Operators.

Operators have always been a big part of Warzone and any CoD game that is integrated into the battle royale. Unfortunately, despite the excitement over the new season, some players are worried one Operator skin in particular has too many similarities to the dreaded Roze skin.

The Roze skin is widely known in the Warzone community as one of the most disruptive cosmetics in the entire game. Usually the devs try to steer away from anything that can be considered pay-to-win, as it causes a lot of controversy among the community.

Many considered the Roze skin as being pay-to-win, mostly because it was very hard to spot thanks to its black-out design.

Players can now view the Season 1 Operator skins in-game, which a Reddit post from DigScared9523 highlighted. One of the new skins available in Season 1 is for Lucas Riggs, which has a lot of the community worried that it will be “Rose v2.”

The skin is called “Barrier Reef” and it features a scuba diving theme, which fits in well with the new Pacific map, Caldera.

The Scuba suit is completely black, covering Lucas’ head and face with blacked-out googles. This is the main issue players are having with this skin, as the color is very reminiscent of the Roze skin, which went through countless updates to fix its overely-discreet design.

Players in the comments of the Reddit post are clearly worried that this skin will cause a similar outrage. One comment states: “this Roze skin 2.0 will be the new meta.”

We’ll have to wait and see just how strong this skin will be once players are able to use it in Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 1. As another user suggests, perhaps the Pacific theme and Caldera’s lighting will prevent this skin from becoming a problem like Roze:

“I don’t really see this as gonna be a problem like roze cause the new map looks a lot brighter honestly probably a jungle themes skins might be the way to go with the amount of jungle there is might blend it better”
