A new Warzone Pacific POI was spotted in Caldera before the teased arrival of monsters like Godzilla shake up the battle royale’s island in Season 3.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 is fast approaching and with each new season, fans of the battle royale should expect some major changes. Many secrets are still shrouded in mystery but we did get a glimpse at what’s to come through various teasers.

Although Season 3 is set to begin on April 27, players have already spotted a new Caldera POI that hints at important discoveries across the island.

Warzone Caldera Dig Site POI bones

All signs point to a monster-themed season as Activision have hinted at the arrival of both Godzilla and King Kong. While we still don’t know how they will impact Warzone, it’s safe to say these massive creatures will leave destruction in their wake, which could alter Caldera’s POIs.

On April 19, players noticed a new POI called Dig Site. While the area hasn’t changed, the fact that the location received a POI on the map means that it could be tied to Season 3’s secrets.

Dig Site can be found in the northwest section of Caldera and it features a large crane that looks perfect for excavating. In fact, on the same day players noticed the new POI, a Season 3 teaser video was released, and the content ties into the new POI.

In the video, we get a top-down view of Caldera from a pilot’s perspective. As the plane hovers over Dig Site, we get a glimpse at some extremely large bones lying on Caldera’s surface. The bones look ape-like in nature which hints at a possible King Kong appearance in Season 3.

There are still plenty of mysteries to uncover and players should find out more once the Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 roadmap is revealed.
