New weapon artwork teases Halo: Infinite June reveal
There’s a lot of buzz about the upcoming Halo: Infinite, and now some brand-new artwork has been revealed ahead of Microsoft’s E3 Xbox showcase, which teases a big reveal for fans.
It’s no secret that Halo has become one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time over the years. The legendary shooter franchise is set to receive another entry in the form of the highly-anticipated Halo: Infinite.
Scheduled to release sometime during November 2021, the game’s arrival has a lot of hype behind it, and fans have been eagerly awaiting more news. Now, some new artwork has given us a closer look at the game.
343 Industries revealed some art showcasing Spartans in colorful new outfits. Each one of them is suited up in silver, bronze, and red. One of them has a skull faceplate that greatly resembles the one for Emile in Halo: Reach.
These trained soldiers are all shown holding a variety of cool weapons. We also got a look at their outfits in a previously leaked promotional image for the Microsoft and Bethesda showcase.
Needless to say, the Spartans look as spectacular as ever, and we can expect some cool new content for them when the game finally arrives later this year.
While initially scheduled for a December 2020 release, Halo: Infinite’s arrival had to be pushed back due to its development being disturbed. Fans also weren’t impressed by the gameplay that was shown last summer.
We hope that the developers will have made some major changes that will be revealed in some new gameplay footage when the showcase starts on June 13, 2021. You can check it out for yourself at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET.
This artwork might also be teasing even more Halo: Infinite reveals in June. As more details slowly become public, we’ll be sure to update you.
