Day 2 of CoD Championship Recap – 3 teams advance to the Final Day – UPDATE
UPDATE DAY 2 RECAP:
Day 2 of the Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox has come to an end. Congrats to the teams that have made it to the Top 8 and getting at least $25,000. But, the big news:
The Championship match: Team EnVyUs vs. Fariko.Impact.
The match-up of Fariko.Impact vs. OpTic Gaming will take place Sun, April 7th. Winner will go to Championship match for chance at $400K.
- 1st Place ($400,000): To be determined April 7th.
- 2nd Place ($200,000): To be determined April 7th.
- 3rd Place ($120,000): To be determined April 7th.
- 4th Place ($100,000): compLexity
- 5th Place (70,000): FeaR
- 6th Place ($50,000): Epsilon
- 7th Place ($35,000): vVv Gaming
- 8th Place ($25,000): InFerno
The Call of Duty Championship match will air at 3pm PST, Sunday April 7th on Twitch.TV AND the Xbox LIVE Event Player. Stay tuned after the final, as they will be showing a behind-the-scences look at Uprising DLC.
DAY 1 RECAP:
Day 1 of the first Call of Duty Championship ever has come to an end in Hollywood, CA. 32 teams took the stage to compete for the $1 million prize pool. Teams were divided into 8 separate groups, and the top 2 from each moved on to the Top 16. Over 60K people worldwide tuned into to the Day 1 stream of the Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox. Day 1 is over, and the 16 teams who will advance have been determined.
