According to a report by Daily Research Plot, Lead Developer Tom French confirmed that there would not be Halo Infinite assassinations available when the game first launches.
This particular melee feature was first introduced into the fan-favorite franchise back when Halo: Reach was released.
However, French stated that 343 Industries would be examing this particular feature further and are not ruling out creating Halo Infinite assassinations in the future, but players looking to take advantage of this mechanic when the game launches will not be able to and will have to wait until they are potentially added in the future.
